Over the past decade the SUV and now CUV has both grown in size and popularity, but with the advent of higher fuel prices (until just recently) and environmental concerns consumers have been eyeing smaller and more fuel efficient vehicles. But these same consumers like the upright and high seating position of the CUV that offers them a better view of the road and a perception of improved safety. Enter the compact crossover segment, a segment that has been growing exponentially over the past three years and Jeep wants a piece of it. The Jeep brand ended 2014 with its largest sales year ever and introduces the 2015 Jeep Renegade in an attempt to make 2015 an even better year.
