If there's a single theme to the biannual Tokyo Motor Show, it's wheeled oddity. Sure, you'll get the odd pedestrian rollout like the expected Macan GTS and the Mini Coooper convertible, but for the most part this show is all about wacky concepts and strange Japan-only micro-boxes.
Poke around inside all you want, but just when you think you've had your fill of weirdness, you're going to want to head outside. You see, the Japanese media attending the show are car enthusiasts too, and their passion for the automobile takes some pretty strange shapes. We wandered through the entire parking lot, and picked out the twenty-five best weird and wonderful machines we could find.
