Rolls-Royce Phantom Zenith Lets You Own a Piece of History

Rolls-Royce is ending production of the Phantom Coupe and Drophead Coupe, but as a send-off Rolls is releasing 50 examples of the Phantom Zenith Collection limited edition. While every Rolls is very luxurious, and very exclusive, these 50 have some extra special touches from the Bespoke design team.

The split-tailgate trunk lid now contains a glass shelf, which is designed to hold a champagne bottle and glasses. In order to properly serve it, there is of course a champagne fridge in the trunk, sized to hold two bottles and eight Rolls-Royce glasses. The rear tailgate is also padded and upholstered in leather for those wishing to be seated. The open doors will display the laser etched arm-rest cappings featuring maps of Lake Como (where the 100EX concept debuted), Lake Geneva (for the 101EX), and on the rear door Goodwood, England, home of the factory where the cars are assembled. The Zenith Collection cars are also available with a special Bespoke picnic hamper, customized to the owner's chosen colour palette.

But what really makes the Zenith special is that each car has a drawer in the centre console, inside of which you will find a polished aluminum case laser engraved with the car's identification number. Inside the case is a single piece of the Phantom assembly line, along with an identifier of where on the line the piece has come.

All 50 examples are, of course, spoken for. Rolls-Royce also plans to offer something similar for the end of the Phantom sedan as well, but you should place your order soon. The replacement for the Phantom has not yet been revealed.
