Wait…what?
Well, it will be 15 years ago this June 22nd when the billion-dollar franchise laid its first rubber; the first time we saw that Charger and that Supra – that blue-eyed wonder and that bald man in a tight tee.
Seems like a long time ago, don’t it?
Well, because the franchise has become the massive cash cow that it is, the producers figured it was time to go back to the roots. So, for one night only this June 22, those that want to see how it all started (perhaps for the first time) and those that just have to go for it again will have their chance. The original big daddy of the franchise -- 2001's The Fast and the Furious -- will be airing at select theatres that night; just be sure to get there before a million hotted-up Civics take all the best spots at the local multiplex.
