BMW has released pricing for the 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 Series models including their M-cars, and Alpina tuned models as well as their full SUV lineup.
Lets start with the 2017 BMW 2 Series. As a coupe it will be available in 230i, 230i xDrive, M240i, and M240i xDrive. The cabriolet will get 230i xDrive, M240i, and M240i xDrive variants. The all-wheel drive xDrive models are automatic only, and non xDrive can be had with manual or automatic gearboxes. 230i means a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder making 248 hp. M240i gets a 3.0L turbo six producing 335 hp. The manual is a six-speed, and the automatic has eight gears.
The BMW M2 coupe will start at $63,000 with a six-speed manual. The optional dual-clutch automatic is $3,500. An M performance exhaust is $3,500 and a sunroof is $1,500.
The all-electric i3 is $46,900, and $51,500 for the range extender version that has a gas engine to charge the battery for you on the move.
The 3 Series sedan will come in 320i xDrive, 328d xDrive, 330i xDrive, 330e, 340i, and 340i xDrive. The only manual transmissions will be on the 340i or 340i xDrive. The rest get an eight-speed automatic. 320i is a 2.0L turbo four making 180 hp. 328d is a 2.0L turbo-diesel four-cylinder that also has 180 hp, but gets 80 lb-ft more than the 320 (to 280 lb-ft). 330i boosts the 2.0L gas engine to 248 hp, while 330e adds a hybrid system to the 320i's engine for a combined 248 hp and improved economy. 340i models get a 3.0L turbo six producing 320 hp. The 3-series touring (wagon) is available as 330i and 328d. Both as all-wheel drive xDrive with automatic transmissions.
The M3 sedan comes with 425 hp from a turbocharged six with a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The M3 starts at $75,500.
The hatchback 3 Series Gran Turismo comes in 330i xDrive ($50,140) and 340i xDrive ($58,140), both with the eight-speed automatic.
The 4 Series comes as both coupe and cabrio, with the coupe available in 430i xDrive, 440i, and 440i xDrive. These get the same engines as the 330i and 340i. The 440i models are available with a six-speed manual, and rest get an eight-speed automatic. Cabrio (convertible) comes as 430i xDrive and 440i xDrive.
The 4 Series Gran Coupe is a four-door 4 with the roofline of a coupe. It's available as 430i xDrive ($50,950) and 440i xDrive ($57,050).
BMW's big coupe, the 6 Series is available as 650i xDrive with a twin-turbo 4.4L V8 making 445 hp. The Gran Coupe, which is the four-door version of the coupe (but not the sedan, that's the 5 Series) gets 640i xDrive and 650i xDrive versions. The 640i is a twin-turbo 3.0L inline six making 320 hp. Finally, the convertible comes in 650i xDrive form. All are eight-speed automatic only. The M6 is available in all body three styles and gets 552 hp. It's also more tuned for performance and handling than the regular car. The Alpina modified 6 Series, the B6 takes the Gran Coupe body and bumps the 4.4L V8 to a nice round 600 hp. It also adds performance and styling improvements.
The full-size 7 Series sedan comes as 750i xDrive ( 4.4L twin-turbo V8, 445 hp), hybrid 740Le xDrive (2.0L four with a hybrid motor, 322 hp total) and 750Li xDrive (long wheelbase). All come with an eight-speed automatic. The B7 Alpina model adds power (up to 608 hp), performance, and luxury.
The BMW i8 hybrid supercar has a combined 357 hp and exotic looks. It starts at $149,800
Starting with the smallest of BMW's 2017 SUVs and working up means beginning with the X1. The compact X1 comes as xDrive28i. That has a 2.0L turbo-four making 228 hp. It starts at $39,500 and gets an eight-speed auto.
The larger X3 gets three versions. xDrive28i with a 241 hp turbo four, xDrive35i with a 224 hp turbocharged six, and xDrive28d with a 184 hp 2.0L diesel four-cylinder. All are eight-speed automatic only.
The X3 sized, but sleeker-coupe-roof endowed X4 comes in xDrive28i and M40i models. The former has the 241 hp four from the X3 and the latter gets a twin-turbo 3.0L inline six that makes 355 hp. Both have all-wheel drive (despite xDrive missing from the M40i name), and an eight-speed automatic.
The mid-size X5 comes as xDrive35i, xDrive40e and xDrive50i. The 35i has a 300 hp turbo six-cylinder engine. The 40e takes a 2.0L four and adds a hybrid drivetrain to make 241 hp and get better fuel economy. The 50i has a 4.4L V8 that has twin-turbos and 445 hp. The high performance X5 M adds bigger brakes, improved suspension, and gets 567 hp from its 4.4L V8.
Finally, the mid-size but coupe-styled X6 comes as xDrive35i and xDrive50i. These get the same engines as the similarly named X5 models. They get the same eight-speed automatics as well. The X6 M has the same increased power and performance as the X5 M.
