Ken Block Reveals Gymkhana Nine

If your day has been sorely lacking in donuts, tire smoke, and amazing drifts, then we have some good news for you. Ready to astonish again is Ken Block's eagerly anticipated Gymkhana Nine. This time, the setting isn't exotic Dubai, or the streets of San Francisco. This time, Block wanted an industrial wasteland setting, and naturally chose Buffalo NY (sorry, Buffalo). The sites used there include the abandoned Ford Furhmann plant, abandoned Buffalo Central Terminal train station, and a few feet of airspace over Lake Ontario.

This year's star car is the Ford Focus RS RX Global Rallycross car. The car boosts Ford's 2.0L turbo four to 600 hp and 664 lb-ft, torturing the all-wheel drive system to achieve a claimed 0-100 km/h time of under two seconds.

While some of the stunts required multiple takes, the Hoonigan team takes pride in the fact that all of the stunts are real, not just camera tricks or CGI. Some of them are even lifted from the fictional world of Forza Horizon, like Block trying to catch his train. If you've got about 10 minutes to fill, click the video below to watch.
