Pricing for 2017 Toyota Prius Announced

Toyota has just released pricing for the 2017 Prius. The compact hybrid hatchback was all-new for 2016, so don't expect any huge changes just one year in. Do expect a price bump of about $1,000 on each trim, and the Technology and Touring packages continue to be available only in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.

The good news is for the base model, which adds Toyota Safety Sense P as standard. That comes with active safety features like Pre-Collision, lane departure warnings, automatic high beams, and radar cruise control. Also welcome are standard heated front seats. Taking into account the new features, which were part of 2016's "upgrade" package, the price still climbs on the base car by about $470

Prices for 2017 Prius are as follows:
Prius Standard Package $27,055
Prius Technology $29,690
Prius Technology Advanced $32,365
Prius Touring $30,290
