Jamie Oliver and Land Rover Make Discovery Kitchen

Check out this Discovery that Land Rover built for celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. It's got everything, even the kitchen. And a sink.

The ultimate on-the-go kitchen was built by Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations to bring The Naked Chef star's ultimate kitchen on wheels ideas to life.

This Discovery has more kitchen gear than most houses. It has a slow cooker in the engine bay, a living herb garden in the right rear window, and a matching spice rack in the left. There is a fold and slide out worktop in the back that includes a gas stove and a sink.

Want to churn some butter? There are three 5L churns mounted in the wheels, with an ice cream maker in the fourth. Put that butter on some toast that you toasted in the centre console. It even has a power take-off mounted in the grille that can operate a rotisserie or a pasta cutter.

There is a BBQ grille that mounts to the folding table. It has a grate inspired by the grille from vintage Land Rovers that could be used to cook over a campfire. The whole BBQ is enclosed in a 25-litre Jerry can.

Other clever touches include jam storage in the glovebox, an olive oil dispenser in the tailgate that uses an indicator stalk to dispense, and a salt and pepper mill in a shift lever.

Oliver, the host of countless TV cooking shows beginning with The Naked Chef, will show the build process and cooking a meal for his family in a three-part series that will air on his Food Tube YouTube Channel beginning later today. Here's a sneak preview of the Kitchen Discovery.
