The fifth generation of the Land Rover Discovery, which arrived at dealers earlier this year, is already receiving some updates for 2018 models, with pricing announced today.
The models will go on sale early in 2018, with a starting price of $63,900 for the SE.
The HSE starts at $69,900, while the HSE Luxury goes for $77,100.
One major change is the introduction of a diesel powertrain available as an option on all trims for $2,000.
The 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 Td6 engine delivers 254 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque and comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Further upgrades for 2018 include the Land Rover inControl Touch Pro infotainment system, including a 10-inch touchscreen. And Land Rover is introducing 4G Wi-Fi connectivity in the Discovery.
The HSE and HSE Luxury trims also get a 12.3-inch interactive instrument cluster.
New safety features include the standard Emergency Braking system with pedestrian detection. It provides braking assistance at speeds up to 60 kilometres per hour.
Consumers also have a new exterior colour to choose from called Bryon Blue.
