Subaru has just priced the Crosstrek for 2019. The crossover was all-new last year, so the new year brings small changes. Some updated software for the infotainment system and some slight price changes.
The Crosstrek comes standard with a 2.0L boxer-four engine that makes 152 hp. Uniquely for the segment, and for crossovers in general, it continues to be offered with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. And not just the base model, either. The manual comes on the Convenience, Touring, and Sport trims.
Optional on those trims, and standard on Limited, is Subaru's Lineartronic CVT, the full line has standard all-wheel drive.
The Crosstrek's standard 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It gets a software update that Subaru says makes operation smoother and more fluid. There is a new shade of paint this year, dark blue pearl, available on Touring, Sport, and Limited.
Base pricing for the Crosstrek remains the same, starting from $23,695. Other trims get a slight bump, up $100 from last year.
The 2019 Subaru Crosstrek goes on sale this month.
