Watch: Ferrari Gets Stuck in Narrow Italian Alleyway

Ferrari created one of its best designs yet when it made the Roma. The sleek mid-engine grand tourer boasts wide rear arches and sleek curves, with a sinuous design language the brand calls La Nuova Dolce Vita. Despite its name, though, in this video, the Ferrari Roma doesn't exactly do well in the streets of Rome. Or at least it doesn't do well in the narrow streets that are common to many of Italy's ancient town centres.

We have no idea how the car got there (or the exact location), but this video posted to YouTube by SupercarsNews shows a brand new (they're all pretty new still) Ferrari Roma that has managed to get itself wedged firmly between two buildings as the driver attempted to make it into the square at the end of the alley.

It turns out that folding in the mirrors won't help you when you've got a rear end that's just barely short of two metres wide. Maybe leaving them out would have given the driver a warning before it was too late.

We're not sure how just how jammed in this Ferrari is, but it certainly doesn't look like it's going anywhere. Based on the gouges and scrapes in the walls along this street, this is far from the first vehicle to end up in this position.

It looks like the owner of this Roma should have picked something a little more modest like the vintage Jaguar that has already made it into the square. The best part of this clip, though? Wait until the end when a very angry-looking citizen shows up to make sure that everyone involved knows exactly how much they've screwed up. That or she's rightfully horrified at what these overly confident drivers have done to the previously flawless bodywork of this car
