2024 Jaguar I-Pace Gets New Trims and Cosmetic Upgrades

Jaguar's electric I-Pace SUV is getting a minor makeover for 2024. The changes include new paint colours, new wheels, and new trim levels, but they don't include any updates to the cabin or the interior of the EV that debuted in 2018.

The exterior changes are subtle, with the most noticeable being the new grille. The 2023 model got a mesh patterned faux grille, while the 2024 model trades that for a smooth panel. This change makes the I-Pace look more like an EV than before. The vertical blades alongside the grille are now finished in the same Atlas Grey as the grille.

The front bumper trim, lower door garnish, and the rear diffuser are all now painted in body colour instead of gloss black. Jaguar says it "serves to simplify and refine the design." All models with 22-inch wheels get a small tailgate spoiler to enhance the car's sporty look.

Two new paint colours bring a satin finish to the I-Pace for the first time. They're both grey, though, although the matte silver look is growing in popularity. There are new wheel designs and new wheel finishes to round out the changes.

The electric driveline is unchanged, so the 2024 Jaguar I-Pace continues to make 394 hp and 512 lb-ft of torque from its dual-motor system and has standard all-wheel drive. With a 90-kWh battery pack underneath, the electric range should remain at an estimated 381 km.

New trim levels should help make the 2024 I-Pace more accessible to buyers thanks to a lower price. The 2023 model was sold in Canada only as the HSE trim from $102,800. For 2024, Jaguar adds R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE, and R-Dynamic HSE trims. While pricing isn't yet available, we expect at least the first two to be lower. Expect the new model to go on sale later this year.
