Electric 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S Goes on Sale This Fall

The all-electric 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S, the company's first EV for Canada, will go on sale this fall. The 600-hp electric 4x4 SUV will arrive first in B.C. and Quebec before making its way to the rest of the country.

Jeep first announced the Wagoneer S in late 2022. The announcement, accompanied by some teaser images of a stylish SUV concept, said that the Wagoneer S moniker was just a code name. Company execs said at the time that there were plans for a new name, and that it planned to speak with owners when choosing the final name.

Those owners must have liked the original name because Wagoneer S is now the name confirmed for production. Oddly, while the existing Wagoneer models, the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are not addressed as Jeeps by the company, the Wagoneer S is.

Jeep said that the model will offer 600 hp and will have a zero-to-100-km/h time of 3.5 seconds. The original announcement came with a range target of around 650 km on a single charge, but today's announcement did not mention electric range.

The Jeep Wagoneer S will only be offered as an EV, the company said. It will have 4x4 standard, and Jeep said it will have terrain manangement and other tech-focused off-road features.

Jeep's seven-slot grille will make it into the electric era, but there will be some changes. The grille now looks to be filled-in instead of being an actual grille. It is also lit in the slot valleys as well as the top bar wrapping into the headlights.

Expect more over the next few months as Jeep plans for the model's full unveiling.
