Porsche 911 or Cayman? That's the hundred-thousand-dollar question. A question that's just become harder to answer with the official announcement of the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 on Tuesday.
It's hard to know what to make of this performance-oriented version of the Cayman. On one hand, it offers racetrack-ready performance at a much lower entry point than the 911; on the other hand, it deviates quite significantly from its image of the "stealth Porsche", well, as under-the-radar as a $100,000 sports car can be. There are those who've been waiting for this very beast for a long time – a mid-engined track-day machine, grocery-getting duties be damned.
You'll be able to decide the age-old question of 911 or Cayman for yourself later this year. The 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 will be arriving at Canadian dealerships in Q3 2015, starting at $96,500.
