Airbag recalls continues to be big news: as Automotive News reports that the Takata airbag scandal is about to inflate by millions more affected vehicles, Nissan has recalled more than 258,000 cars and crossovers for faulty front passenger seat airbag classification modules that could turn off the airbag even when the seat is occupied by an adult. The same recall applies to the Chevrolet Express van.
Another large recall comes from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), which is recalling more than 185,000 mid-size crossover models in Canada to fix power steering lines that could leak in extreme cold conditions. Transport Canada hasn't issued its official notice yet, but we'll share it with you when it's published.
Chevrolet is recalling nearly 30,000 Sonic, Spark and Trax models because the car may not provide an audible reminder if the keys are left in the ignition after the car is parked.
