Cadillac today published technical specifications and trim level details for the CT4 compact sedan set to go on sale later this year as a 2020 model.
Trim packages will include Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and V-Series. These are in addition to the performance-tuned CT4-V that Cadillac revealed earlier this year.
The CT4's all-turbo engine lineup will begin with a 2.0L four-cylinder making 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. It will be standard in Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trims, along with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
CT4's other engine is a 2.7L turbo four good for 309 hp and 348 lb-ft and optional in Premium Luxury and Sport trims and standard in V-Series. 2.7L cars also get a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Both engines will come standard with rear-wheel drive that can be optioned to AWD.
The CT4-V uses the 2.7L and 10-speed too, but in a more aggressive tune that cranks out 325 hp and 380 lb-ft.
Cadillac says all CT4 models will come standard with passive keyless entry, a heated and leather-trimmed steering wheel, LED interior lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, and active noise cancellation.
Premium Luxury, Sport, and V-Series trims add forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic braking, rear park assist, and auto-dimming mirrors. All three can be optioned with front park assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert with rear automatic braking.
Starting in calendar year 2020, Cadillac says the CT4 will add GM's Super Cruise driver-assist system. Cadillac will publish CT4 pricing closer to the start of production at GM's Lansing Grand River factory.
