History/Overview
The Lyriq is the first Cadillac to use the Ultium electric vehicle platform developed by its General Motors parent company. It’s a crossover that straddles the compact and mid-size categories, and was designed to appeal to the brand’s core demographic of shoppers looking for an upscale car with utility-vehicle practicality.

The Cadillac Lyriq is all-new for the 2023 model year.
Available Trims
Cadillac offers the Lyriq in RWD and AWD configurations. The entry-level RWD setup puts 340 hp to the road, while the AWD setup promises about 500 hp, though that latter specification hadn’t been finalized at the time of this writing.
Standard Features
Among the Lyriq’s standard kit is a 33-inch curved infotainment display, a 19-speaker stereo, LED headlights and taillights, a fixed glass roof, heated/ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, 20-inch wheels, and active noise cancellation.
Key Options
Cadillac offers the GM Super Cruise driver assistance suite as an option in the Lyriq.
Fuel Economy
The Lyriq’s energy consumption estimates are 2.4/2.9 Le/100 km (city/highway). Cadillac promises a maximum driving range of 502 km in the standard RWD configuration.
Competition
With the Lyriq, Cadillac competes with the Genesis GV60, Lexus RZ, and Ford Mustang Mach-E.
