Audi 1900-2018Change

I purchased a 2 year old Audi A4 in 2010, which was Certified Pre-Owned, and an extended warranty, so all in cost was 36K. I have put the highest grade of gas in this car since I got it, and have had oil changes every 5,000K as my mechanic recommended, NOT every 15,000K as Audi recommends. As soon as the warranty expired, the car started burning oil, since then I've had to replace the head gasket, multiple ball joints, the AC unit, fuel pump, the clutch, had exhaust system issues, and now the transmission needs replacing cause I've lost third gear! On top of regular maintenance, and all at a premium cost of course, because the cost o maintenance and repairs on these vehicles is ridiculous! I was told these cars easily run to 300K, mine is at 223K and now have to decide whether to spend thousands more to replace the tranny, or get nothing for it on a trade in! This is supposed to be a high end vehicle, but it's a piece of junk! After reporting this to Audi Canada, they offered me a $750.00 credit towards the purchase of a new vehicle, hahaha. A drop in the bucket compared to the $$$$$$$$ I've spent of this piece of crap car! Unless you are very wealthy and have money to burn, think long and hard about purchasing an Audi!

2012 was the last year to grab a V8 with a manual gearbox and holy heck its awesome. The engine is so well balanced and smooth, the 350/320 HP/TQ really sits well in this heavy car. I have shamelessly won a few street passes against a 981, Mustang, and a few Japanese cars. I was slightly humbled however when a newer R8 left me in the dust without any real effort.
Inside the S5 it feels like a fighter plane cockpit. Everything is slightly angled towards the driver, and every switch has this beautiful tactile feel to it that really gets the fizz going when you press them.
The climate controls are pretty annoying... I dont need 12 fan speed settings (but if anyone takes them away from me ill kill them). I dont need 6 heated seat settings and I really dont need 8 options for where the bloody air flow is directed (but again, please dont take them away from me). The German attention to detail really shows in this car.

More Annoying bits:
-All the dials spin counter-intuitively to how you would imagine. Turning them clockwise makes the menu go up, not down.
-The small center screen in the cluster needs several menu presses to revert back to the original screen after making a call or selecting a new track.
-If your washer fluid or gas are low, you will see nothing else in the top part of the cluster. Its very annoying.. yes I know the gas is low, now change back to the radio station..
-Also, the gas light comes on almost 100km pre-maturely.
-Fuel economy isnt great... around 500km to a tank depending how heavy footed you are.
-Parts are as expensive as I have come to expect with German cars.

i like the car model compare to other car and its affordable price the car is also very classy and fast conftable. better then some other car at the same price and you get what you paid for

it looks great while being able to be efficient with not many issues with the car. The car didnt have many issues in the past 2 years ive owned it, the only con is that it more expensive than it should.

great car for the winter with the all wheeel drive package AUDI made one og the best car in history i will for ever drive a adui i dont see any other german vehcile like BENZ or BMW

To be honest i have nothing bad to say about this car, the performance & comfort of this beautiful car is unbeliveable, and also the fuel economy is excellent. & for finish the interior designs are amazing !. i really do recommand this car to anybody !.

here's an almost Olympian strength to the four interlocking rings on the Audi badge, and it's in no way misleading. I have driven this car across Canada and it was being nice all the time without any interruption due to engine problems or anything like that.
It is a great chance to have but the interior needs to be enhanced seriously. I don't like the small screen in the middle and the steering compass is not very good as well.
In general, this is a nice car and it is worth buying. Next time I would prefer buying Audi TT.

It is a car to get you to A to B in style, but I think I would have been better suited for a different car that would fit my needs in terms of fitting more fishing gear in it.

The car works fantastic every day, the QUATTRO system makes it a great year round car. Performance from the 2,0T is excellent, and the ride is not as uncomfortable as you would expect from a sports car.

Althou the s4 is not the best on gas, it is a beautiful car equipped with audi's newest and most innovative technology. Also, the s4 is a very fast vehicle.

Decided to go used instead of new. but for being as old as it is. The A6 really was a state of the art machine back in 2007.

Plus the big gas tank is awsome on long trips!

it is amazing I have no complaints unless it is caused by mu own damages. the seats are comfortable, while driving on the road the car drives smoothly there are no problems

Yes, indeed it is a terrific ride. One of the best cart i have driven in all my life ! Recommend this car, its fast and small. Its definitely a supercar.
