Hyundai 1985-2019Change

I bought this car brand new from the dealer. I had always been attracted to the Tiburon because of its body style. It's low and sleek; it could easily be mistaken for something a lot more exotic on a quick glance! My Tiburon has been a very reliable vehicle. Since I bought it the only major thing that I've replaced are the struts. Other than the usual wear and tear parts, such as brakes, this car has been very good to me. The Tiburon is peppy and handles quite well. I've driven it through the mountains a couple of times and I've enjoyed every minute of it! I found the sound system that came with the car to be very good with lots of power. The Tiburon gets great gas mileage too. If they were still being made today I would seriously consider buying another one :-)

Our Tucson was a nice SUV for many years. The first few years of ownership were great and it worked well. I was very impressed as to how good it worked. After the factory warranty ran out it was still fine but would quickly start to fail.

Over the past few years since about 2017, the Tucson has gone downhill. I'm not sure what's going on but its just starting to fall apart at an increasing rate.

I'd like to go back to Hyundai but I have lost faith in the brand. Once you get near the 100K mark, it just starts falling apart.

Best in it's class for reliability, safety, power to weight ratio and feature content. Hyundai is in the top 3 of JD Power's Initial Quality study. The XL has the 290 HP 3.3L V6 engine with 252 ft-lbs of torque making it quick off the line. Quicker than the Palisade. 5000 lb towing capacity. Great handling and the solid 6 speed tranny is tried and true compared to Toyota's new but problematic 8 speed. Door handles do seem a bit cheap. Shifting P,R,N,D could be smoother. Fuel econ not that great. Hyundai's Shiftronic in Sport Mode is a real game changer for me. I have the AWD Luxury trim level which is more than enough to meet my driving needs. Best features: 1. Hands free power tailgate without all the foot waving. 2. Up-to-date tech (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) and large touch screen display. 3. Built in sun screens on the second row windows. 4. Large open pano roof. 5. Cold 3rd row AC. 6. Pull levers to fold down 2nd row seats. 7. Cool exterior design. 8. Keyless entry/comfort access with push button start. 9. Large storage bin under the cargo area floor. I keep an air pump, blanket, windshield sun reflector, my set of owner's manuals and more. 10.My wife's favourite is the ceiling mounted sunglasses compartment. 11. More interior volume than the Highlander, Durango and CX-9. 12. Loads of leg room and wide footwells. The Santa Fe XL is a no-nonsense vehicle which offer best value for your money and it's fun to drive.

The only thing is resale values seem to be very regional, so watch where you are when you want to sell or trade in.

Good car at a good price, but the interior feels very plastic. Most things are not padded, including armrests, just rigid plastic everywhere, which tends to scuff and scratch very easily. I've only have the car around 4 months and the plastic around the ignition is pretty beat up. I can't imagine I've missed the whole more than a dozen times but that material is just so susceptible to being scratched. Also very noticeable at foot height if you ever bump your shoe against the door. Overall I have few complaints but that interior is a major drawback

Full tank gives around 500km worth of gas. Nice ride, sporty exterior. Engine could be a bit more powerful, but for approximately 130 HP what more could you ask for? Sadly the car only fits 4, and the back is rather uncomfortable if you're over 5'10 and taller.

We have been completely satisfied with this car. Impressed with the comfortable quiet ride, sleek design and amazing fuel mileage. This was a great car for us for our commute between Calgary and Canmore. With a new-to-us old Landrover and truck to fit our adventurous lifestyle, we need to make room for our son's toys in the garage where it has been kept when not in use.

this is my 5th Hyundai and one that I would definitely buy again. Not great gas mileage but a great ride. Lots of storage and room for cargo and pets. Friends find it a bit low to get in and out of but I have never found this to be the case. All electronics are great especially easy to use and access.

For a 400$ used car bought at 190 000km I had fun for 2 years without any issue.

But rust finally won

Had fun for 2 years with this used car bought for 400$ in 2016.

It had 190 000km ran well for 30 000km and started having injection issue.

The rust problem was affecting everything, had to scrap it.

This car is stable and grabs the road well. It doesn't slide on water, snow or ice but hugs the road well. A great vehicle for a family with young children. We purchased it because it had room in the back seat for our 2 teenage kids who have long legs and even my hubby fits in the back seat and he's a big man.

its a smooth ride,,love my heated seats ,,great on gas its sporty and stylish and roomy like the handsfree feature ,,all my gadgets are on my steering wheel

I've had lots of ups and down with this car. All in all it's great for getting from point A to point B because of the great fuel economy. 3.5 or out 5 stars.

great little car, very little repairs spent on it and great gas mileage, highly recommended to anyone looking to buy a reliable used car. Owned mine for 5 years now and still drives like new, very quiet and stylish, will definitely buy a newer model in the future.

This car has been perfect for my family. The back seat is spacious enough to allow easy access for car seats. The trunk is big enough to stow a stroller without much maneuvering. I spend way less in gas than many of my friends with similar vehicles. Heated seats and blue tooth are great additions, with easy access to the blue tooth system built into the steering wheel. Sporty exterior.

Ive had the car for a little over weeks now and it has been a smooth driving experience. I wish they did more with the interior design but its still a beautiful car nevertheless.

It's alright if you're willing to spend a lot regularly on it. Would not suggest as a first car. The interior is pretty well designed, low to the ground type of car. It's generally a smooth ride especially with it's v6 in it.

my car is a used Hyundai the old girl is reliable though to say the least it gets me where I wanna go at the end of the who cares about anything else

I've had a lot of fun with this car, which I bought used. I had to replace tires and battery right after getting the car but it made sense given the time I bought it at. I've really liked the performance and style of the car for the money.

I love this vehicle It is so versatile for a family with amazing space. I truely enjoy road trips with it and even with all seats being used the trunk has enough space for all luggage. It drives like a dream and the standard features blow me away

I like this car - its sleek and it handles well. I drive a standard version and it's easy to change gears and really good in the winter. My biggest issue is that the rear window doesn't have a wiper. So sometimes in bad weather its hard to see out the back it also takes far to long to defrost. Otherwise its a great car, well built for the prince

IT WAS MY FIRST CAR will always be my favourite car. This is a great starter vehicle, never any problems with the engine. Cheap on gas and repairs. Sleek and sporty, fully loaded!

I thought this car was a great fit for me and my daughter. It’s perfect on gas so I don’t end up spending a fortune. Also it’s a very easy ride while driving.

The car is perfect for me, you feel high and the seats are simply the best. You feel in security while you are driving. I think it's a perfect car for those with kids or those who have to drive a lot during winter.
