Kia 1996-2018Change

I've logged just over 350,000 highway kilometers and, aside from routine maintenance, it's cost me 2 ball joints, 2 wheel bearings, one clutch and one battery. Needless to say, this has been one of the best cars I've owned in almost 40 years. Fun and comfortable to drive. I work on my laptop a lot in the car and I enjoy how you sit up in it like my previous Jeep Liberty. Lots of cargo space with either/both back seats down, though it lacks space with the seats up, but I knew that beforehand. I will buy another!

Purchased the car under 60K in Feb.2016 and I am wrting this review on April 2016 (3K on it in two months)
Very quite cabin, engine is extremely powerful and has high torque.
Fuel economy - higway is good but I found city driving a bit lower than what I expect(mixed driving 60 city/40 hwy getting 11lt/100 km)
I have a White pearl color and overall looking very stylish for an $25,000 car.
Driver seat adjustment too a little while to get to the comfort level.
I still think the front seats could have been better as it is not as comfortable as I expect (I'm 6ft 220lbs.)
Overall when I compare this features/price it is much better than highlander, pathfinder and santa fe which were the other three 7 seater options I was looking.
Try test driving it you will love it!

This is one great SUV, rides a bit rough, but a body on frame design not unibody, so to be expected with firm suspension. Just a minor issue with 4x4 switch being defective, and now it appears the engine has a problem and is being replaced under warranty. Glad I bought the KIA protect not the Nation wide, as it is fully covered. The engine is not a deterrent, still love the truck, and won't part with it. If you get a chance, grab one, they are scarce as KIA only had them in N.A. from 09-11. Too bad for them, one great truck.

Drives very smooth and economical. Never had any issue with it, fully recommend to others and Dealership maintenance is affordable.

The car is very economical and comfortable and low maintenance. The most importantly, this car won't give up on you.

This truck is like having a car and a van and a truck all in one.
Not too big but very spacious...very comfortable ride with the ESC option....stylish and beautiful Gold color....all in one vechile ready for all your needs...shopping, hockey bags,4x4 for heavy snow days...5 passengers....you will enjoy this vehicle for all it's options for what ever you need.

Love this car but two growing boys are getting to big for this car
heartbroken it has to go.Been the best car I have owned,had it from new and had no issues ever on it had to do some maintence but has done everything that i have needed until we grew out of it. Amazing in the snow can get around everywhere,and amazing handling going around tight corners and windy roads

After reading the other reviews claims that I have read about this car fuel economy, I felt a need to set the record straight. Don't get me wrong, I love my 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid Premium and it has been an excellent car since I bought it new in 2012, but it does have a couple short comings.

1. It's no secret that the fuel economy is not as advertised by the manufacturer and this was established with the outcome of a class action law suit that awarded owners a small amount in damages for their lost savings at the pump. After four years and 80,000 km, I have averaged 9l/100km or between 600 - 800 km per tank of gas. I noted that I wasn't getting the expected fuel economy early on and took it to the dealership to have it checked out. The tech that worked on my car owned the same model and had the same experience. He said he could make some tweaks that might help a little, but it didn't make much of a difference. The same tech and I were speaking not long ago and he told me that he sold his Optima after three years and bought a Kia Soul EV.

2. Trunk space is reduced to accommodate the electric engine making this car less than ideal for long trips with a lot of luggage.

3. The Premium model comes with the Navigation feature and it costs about $200 to update the maps. A disappointing money-grab, given that a Garmin GPS with lifetime map updates costs about the same.

Apart from the issues noted above, the car is excellent in every other way. I chose this model over a 2012 Mercedes Benz C300 (which has many of the same features), saved $18k, and got a car with just as much and perhaps even better styling, but that's a matter of taste I suppose.

Love everything about it. Although the interior and exterior design might not be the best, the performance alonside everything else is mint! Would totally reccommend to buy.

i waslooking at 2007 kia rondo lx 200,000 kms . testdrove it and fetlt good. dealership asking 5,000 includes everything ... REally well looked after and immaculate. \

My question is because it has so many kms i am thinking it may not be good to buy it..

This car has been nothing but the best for me. However, with a growing cleaning company, I was in need of something a little bigger to handle all of my larger cleaning supplies.
It is an amazing car from top to bottom front to back and has treated me well as I have treated it well.

Nica and smooth drive.. my kid love this panoramic roof!! gas mileage is amazing.. will never sell this car if my family does not expand..

Very spacious and comes with a lot of bells and whistles. Its a very reliable car that will cut your gas costs and keep money in your wallet.

The entertainment system is awesome, it has very easy to use Blue tooth system that connects with smart phones. The a/c is awesome and keeps you cool in summer and the heat keeps you warm in winter.

The car is ergonomically designed with all the dials and buttons easily accessible; it even has a shopping bag holder. The middle console has a low and a deep compartment.

Wow, what a great trouble free car. 5 years later and never a problem, awesome fuel economy, great on road trips, lots of room for extras.
Wife loves this car, love the styling and all the features. Kia has made a great name for themselves. Highly recommended!

Fuel Efficient, great handling, good in snow, good on highway, good in city traffic. Easy to park. Been driving it since brand new, would definitely buy another Soul

We have only had our rondo for just over 3 months and we are pleased with our purchase. For a family of 5, with two adults, a teenager and 2 small kids it is great for day to day commuting or short weekend trips. I think the only disappointment thus far is with the fuel economy, which never varies much from 10L/ 100 Km, which is not far off from our much larger Mazda CX-9, even with the Eco feature turned on. Of course we have probably not fully worked in the engine and no trip has exceeded 400 Km from our home. Perhaps in longer trips the fuel savings will start to show, but then again for long haul travel we will need a roof rack, which will negate the fuel savings. Also the car lacks pep (especially with the Eco feature turned on), so you have to take this into consideration when driving on the highway. All in all, the Rondo does the job of a comfortable people mover inside a deceivingly small body.

I bought it just because it's cheaper than others, after I bought, I made a comparison with others, and figured out the interior space is greater than other same level cars, and that's exactly what I need coz I am very tall.

I had a little Kia Rios but in Alberta it was too tiny for those BIG trucks. The Kia Soul is a perfect size. Its retro sharp looking and I have not had a single problem with it. The sun roof is great and so is the hand free blue tooth. I can't say I have any complaint except I don't need to drive it often so it sits and collects dust all week :(

Have owned 2 other SUV's one a Jeep Liberty and Santa Fe, neither can compare to the Sorento! This vehicle has the comfort ride of a Cadillac and the power and handling of a jeep. My family has been on a few road trips, they are young adults now. Tons of leg room for comfort and storage is a dream The fuel ECO feature is a plus and its the best on gas I have experienced. The Rear Driver Assist is fantastic, it's been always on and saved a small dog once from being run over. The safety of this SUV is the best in it's class. Hands down, the best SUV, ever!!!

This is a great SUV, lot's of space, comfortable ride, will never let you down, performs well in all seasons . If well maintained, the car will run forever!

For a smaller size SUV, the Kia Sportage offers everything you need in a nice compact package. The 4x4 capabilities have been awesome. It has tackled every bad winter and some off road driving with ease. The back seats fold out of the way to give great cargo capacity. I have hauled my 18' kayak on the roof with no problems. City driving gets about 550 - 600 km on a tank of gas. The additional perks include the AM/FM CD/Cassette package, cruise control and power windows and mirrors (and more). The leather has kept very well and floor mats in the front and back really complete the "finish" of the vehicle. I have loved driving this around and have had only regular maintenance to take care of. Love this vehicle.

Have had no issues with this car. Wouldn't have bought a KIA 10 years ago, but am very satisfied with this one!! Would buy another KIA product without hesitation!
