A City car who can go tought country ROAD. Mud or SNOW nothing can stop this subaru. More,this car is compact and style

I drive occasionally and this is my favorite car to drive. really smooth, lots of power and ample leg room.

I love how it feels to drive my subaru. The only thing that bothers me is that it's not good on fuel consumption. Otherwise it's a nice car and I would recommend it.

Fell in love from day one. Although I gave up a hemi I gained nearly double the mileage. I only have the 4 cylinder and wasn't after acceleration (which is good because it aint real peppy).

I could go on and on, but won't. Am I happy I made the trade to a smaller vehicle? Yes

Am I overall happy with a Subaru? Yes!

Would I recommend Subaru or buy another? Yes!

This is the first Subaru that I have owned. I was looking for a small SUV and I had done a lot of research on them and I was impressed with the Forester. I have had the Forester for almost a month and here are of my additional observations:
Ride: Smooth, quiet and stable;
Acceleration: Quick, better than expected;
Visibility: Excellent with huge windshield and large windows all around;
Sunroof: Largest I've ever seen;
Car quality: solid as a rock;
Safety: There isn't a safer car on the road;
Seating comfort and space: Excellent;
Cargo capacity: Copious;
Gas Mileage: I averaged 33MPG for the first 1000 miles.
The Forester is not as swoopy looking as some of its competition but is still a handsome well built compact wagon like utility vehicle.

Hasn't let me down yet. bought it used in 2016 with 129 000kms
it's now at 160 000 and if I keep maintining the small things it will keep going forever

This is my second car , since I bought it , I never used my other sedan , its way more fun to drive on snow on gravel or asphalt , water , accidented roads . I feel safe while driving it , the way it holds onto the ground , you have total control of where you are going no matter what condition and weather. I can only complain about the parts being quite expansive , Japanese really made a masterpiece with this one , and I'm love with it . it drives like a go kart. I fell in love with that car , and I'm going to cherish it until it cant stand on its own , one of the rare cars to keep its value!

good acceleration - strong build - adaptive - confortable - beautiful - all wheel drive 4x4 - a bit hard to get used to the clutch - quite gas consuming but for those years its not that bad , all in all , good car , lot of potential ! I love it.

Very Nice Subaru. Very happy with it! AWD and handling is amazing. Once you drive one of there you can't go back to a regular sedan. I also tried newer imprezas and for some reason the acceleration is not that impressive as the the older models. Boxer engine sounds great too!

Don’t let the giant trunk wing fool you: The STI is not about to go airborne before your very eyes. With 305 hp from its 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder, it’s just not the performance threat that it used to be. A six-speed manual, limited-slip differentials, and torque vectoring help keep the STI glued to the road. Its steering is laser-quick and its brakes grip like crazy. The result makes it entertaining to drive, but it comes at the price of a punishing ride and a punishing price.

I love to customize the wrx sti but those evo x keeps beating me.The Interior is very comfortable specially the seats. i didnt even need a racing seat

Buy this car few weeks ago, no problem and its doesn't need much gas. 7.4L/100KM for now so i'm verry happy about it. Subaru reliability.

lots of life in this little car, and space too, but watch as it guzzles all your gas money. would do well to have the ability to turn off the all wheel drive from time to time, but not an option.

Canadian winters are a blast in the fozz. This is a great vehicle to fuel my travels. Drove it across the country as soon as I bought it and it's done me well since then. Surprisingly good on gas. Overall I love my Forester and I'm definitely in the Subie family for life.

This is a decent car, but since it's old, I can't drive long distances. I've had it for a while and it hasn't started being unreliable since recently.

Very happy with my Outback. This is my 2nd Subaru owned. I had a Forester for 12 years. Expecting my Outback to last that long. Very comfortable driving position and firmness on the road.
Also very reliable.

it handles well, it comfortable, and great for winter driving. I'm always happy driving it because I know I'm safe in it and it is so reliable.

I love my Subaru forester. It is 10 years old and still running. I have taken it offloading for the past three years and it has performed amazingly well. The roof rack is exceptionally helpful for my canoe which I bring out every year.

This car is the best handling vehicle we've ever owned. It performs so well in every season, in any road conditions, it was well worth the price. We expect to have it for years to come.

Ive owned it for a few years now and have not had any problems except for regular maintenance. It rides smoothly has ample amount of power for passing and is an absolute dream during the winter.

Check engine light on during test drive. Hey, no biggie, just a sensor replaced before purchase.
Hmm, I did notice the clutch was iffy then. I should be able to get many more km out of this...

Clutch and engine (well known problem with the 2.5 then) go south.

Great car when it worked. Awesome in a Canadian winter. Zoom-zoom in summer. Models after this year got larger.

It is such a high performance car! I never had any problems with it, and I'm happy I made this decision to buy the Impreza. 5/5 all around.

Bought this car used a few years ago. As long as you keep the rust at bay, Subarus last forever, so it's a good investment. Works well, drives well.

reliable AWD technology. Great stability in curves. Feul economy needs improvement. Interior and exterior styling not at par with its competitors. Affordable maintenance fees. Feels more truck like driving a truck than a car. Great overall visibility when driving.

Fuel efficiency is very good for an all wheel drive vehicle. Seats are comfortable which makes for an enjoyable ride. I am planning on upgrading to a new Outback with eyesight.

It was a great deal to start with, a $400CAD turn-key needing a little work. It was originally just a wheel bearing, but i needed a new spindle, axle, core, brakes, bearing, seals, etc. Tuned into $1400CAD of a venture. 100% WORTH IT!
