Ford C-Max Energi 2013Change

I have owned and driven a Ford Cmax Energi (plug in hybrid) for 3.5 years and it has been a great car! The ride is smooth and super quiet. The plug in electric feature lets me charge every night and never go to the gas station. For long rides I can save the electric energy and just use the hybrid electric setting. The total range on this vehicle is about 800km per "tank" when factoring in gas and electric.

Plus the bluetooth and voice command centre is cutting edge. Not to mention the phone app for starting/stopping and locking doors is so useful.
And, I get to use the HOV lanes all the time, and get premium parking and free charging at Home Depots, Ikea, every major mall, Freshco grocery ... so many places for free "gas"

I love my C-Max! Had it since Nov '13-July '14. Did a 4 year lease. Plug-in is perfect for city commuting and has backup gas engine when longer trips are needed. And its still fantastically efficient on gas. Got the 240v charger to optimize EV use. Charges to full from empty in 2-3 hours. Gorgeous interior and exterior styling. Vehicle has been super reliable and has saved us $400-500 in gas costs per month and only adds about $60 to our electricity bill. Ford has done something truly great here and you get to pass gas stations at the same time.
