Nissan Versa Note 2014-2015Change

C'est une bonne petite première auto pour un jeune. Pas aussi bon et efficace que la marque Toyota mais n'en demeure pas moins qu'elle nous porte du point A au point B. Un peu de difficulté à monter les côtes.

I have a 2014 with CVT and a 2015 with 5 speed manuel (needs a 6th gear) and the CVT is the only way to go if your doing any HWY driving to keep the revs down to 2000. My 5 speed revs 1500 RMP higher at same Hwy speed.
Rear doors open 90 degrees, lfor easy in & out of people and dogs. Lots of leg room in rear for 6ft tall pax's.
2015 instruments display is better than 2014
SL top model having camera's all around is excelent & heated seats
2017 model added an extra DC charger and moved the USB to a more convenient place in the front.
Fuel consumption is between 5.7 - 6.6 litre to 100 kms
Didn't find anything else with these feature's for the money.

I bought my car 6 months old with 12k km. Now it has 40k. My only real complaint is the CVT transmission. The car shakes with the A/C on. Sometimes the car doesn't take off as quick as I need or want it to.

Pro's
- very roomy (especially the back seat)
- fits a car seat with lots of extra space
- comfortable on long drives
- handles well
- good on gas
- if you buy it used, it's a good bang for your buck
- so far only oil changes

Con's
- too sluggish at times
- I would prefer a conventional transmission
- safety? Not rated as well as other cars in the class

Overall, I would probably purchase again for the price.

Purchased used with 18K km. Now has 23K km after 8 mths.
Pros:
No problems so far. Great gas mileage - about 47 mpg Cdn mostly hwy. Back seat is huge. Love the hatchback for versatility. Good brake feel. Standard block heater.
Cons:
No telescopic steering wheel - too far away for me.
Fairly noisy accelerating but quiet once cruising. Seats are hard. Door armrest is hard plastic. Centre armrest is at a different height. Handling is ok but can't say car is fun to drive. Visibility is ok but rear pillar is wide.
Overall:
Decent small car when incentives are available.

This is a wonderful car to own and drive to anywhere. it is convenient and fast in the city, very easy to navigate and parking in anywhere of the city. The smooth ride and remarkable noise insulation brings this little spirit into a higher competition level. Also the excellent fuel economy helps me save a lot of bucks on gas.

I do not recommend this car. Buy any other car if at all possible. I did not feel safe in this car. It is a hog on gas which surprised me seeing as its such a small light car. It has poor pick up, and handled terribly. There was nothing nice about this car. It had a back up camera that was virtually useless since it fit in any parking space with at least a foot and a half of either side of the car. I had some debris fall off a bridge that was under construction and hit my car. It took the paint off right to the metal.. it looked like a tissue that it my car but it obviously wasn't. The people who work at the nissan dealership in my area are extremely rude people. The did not care about me or my issues and called me a liar. I do not support nissan, their products are cheap and flimsy. BUY ANY OTHER MAKE!
