Subaru Tribeca 2006-2011Change

I have owned this car from day 1 (Feb/2011) and I have no complains. It rides well, very quiet inside, roomy too (except 3rd row is tight but kids love it), dash design is futuristic and all the buttons and dials are within reach and easy to read. Gas is not bad for 3.6 litre 256 hp engine (thank Subaru it is regular gas not premium). The sound system is so great Harman Kardon rules. I cannot believe they stopped the production of these vehicles but anticipate they come out strong with exterior facelift to make it MACHO! it is bit lady friendly design from outside today.

After buying the Tribeca used and driving it for 4 years (117,000km total), I can say that it has been comfortable, versatile and very low maintenance. Fuel consumption is mediocre, but it is a much quicker vehicle with a more advanced AWD system than most comparables. Nothing has broken and the regular dealer maintenance is cheaper than other imports (especially German). Despite the good ground clearance , the suspension setup is happier on the road and gets quite choppy on rough surfaces, unlike other Subarus that are just as happy off-road. Rear seat room is limo-like if you forget about using the 3rd row. Solid vehicle.

Very bad with high kilometer, very expensive in maintenance especially in labor. Do not recommend higher kilometer than 150.000, I would say less than 100.000 should be fine but still "very high in gas"! Rather than that it is a good car.

The Tribeca is a joy to drive on highway. For city driving it is also good. Tight turning circle. excellent pick up. Lots of cargo space, especially with back seats lowered.

I have had no issues with the car. I drive it to Florida every winter for the last 7 years with no issues. Tons of space and seating is the most comfortable of many cars I have tested recently. Lots of power and a great sound system. Side mirrors are a bit too small so I added accessory mirrors for the blind spot. My only expenses have been new tires after huge amount of miles and brakes. Other than that its been oil changes and routine maintenance at the dealer

Reliable and honest, this car never breaks down, accelerates well and keeps everyone entertained and safe. Drives like a car, but has surprising room for an mid-sized SUV.

I love this car and would not be selling it if we hadn't outgrown it. We took a trip across the Rocky mountains with it through some miserable weather and it did it without any effort at all.

This summer my truck died & we had bought a Dodge Caravan a few month earlier. The options were to sell the Tribeca & buy a truck or keep the Tribeca and buy a trailer. I couldn't force myself to sell the Tribeca. I LOVE this CUV.

I've had a few cars in the past, but I must admit the Tribeca is the best. It is spacious, luxurious and heavy duty.

This vehicle has been well taken care of and looks almost new. It rides and drives well and is excellent in winter conditions. Good fuel economy for highway driving, average in city driving conditions. Comfortable for long road trips with lots of storage space. If we still needed two cars, we wouldn't be selling!

i bought this excellent reliable car but forget about fuel economy ,it runs about 13kilo/liter on highway and traffic . the 7 seaters is very roomy for a large family .

With a set of snow tires this car rules in the winter. It's great in all types of weather. I love both the intereior and exterior styling. The engine has power to spare and responds when you ask for it to move. Overall, it's one of the greatest cars I've owned.

Great exterior and interior styling. Great performance from the 3.6L engine. Acceleration is smooth. Subaru's AWD performance is amazing for Canadian winters. The car will handle well even when there is snow on the ground.

My Tribeca has an impressive ride and handling balance. The 256-hp, 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine and five-speed automatic transmission make a decent powertrain. However, gas consumption is merely 16 L/100KM overall for 1 year of ownership. Handling is quite agile, with nice steering feel and restrained body lean. The ride is supple and very well controlled. Fit and finish is very good, but the second- and third-row seats are cramped. It's a long reach to the navigation system's touch screen. The styling of the dashboard makes some controls difficult to see.
