Toyota FJ Cruiser 2002-2014Change

The car always feels comfortable and it's always reliable for trips. It has features that allow you to relax easier and it is good to visit places with it.

I love my FJ criser if it wasn't for financial issues I would keep it. It drives really well, It's the only one I know of that has a sunroof and its will never get stuck in the snow or anywhere for that matter. The only thing is its a beast on gas. (Not as bad as a big truck).

This car is great for outdoors, very reliable and sturdy, in the winter is great on the road. The 4.0-liter V-6 with 239 hp and 278 lb-ft of torque does a good job of moving the 4338-pound ute

Very solid well built vehicle. Absolutely great off-road, but also good for slick roads. Nice to sit up high, and headlights are very good for night driving.

I was Previous owner of this FJ Cruiser.
I only Traded it in for Higher Model Trail Team .
I highly Recommend this FJ.

Had this truck for 9 years and its still running like a charm, at 191000 km it runs like its brand new. Like any Toyota vehicle with proper care and maintenance they hold their value and will last!! Extremely safe vehicle with all the built in air bags around the vehicle. The next owner of this truck won't be disappointed!!

Heartbreak. We had it for 8 short years, loved the looks but it had issues, with blindspots, back comfort and cheap interior. Back door opened sideways so no lumber carrying ability. Drove like a tank, great for plowing through deep snow banks but unfortunately as little as we drove it, it only lasted under 8 years at 115,000 kms. Yup, it was yellow, and it was a lemon. Was going to cost us 5700 to repair the transmission and steering so we sold it back to the dealer for 11,000. They said that they keep their resale value but we paid close to 50,000 for it new. On the web, people all seem to have the same problems with it, transmission, seized brakes, seized steering.

This is an awesome vehicle for the highway and Winter driving. It is a pleasure to drive and handles extremely well in all conditions. The interior comforts such as PW, Pl, AC, tilt, cruise, upgraded 6 D stacker stereo and sub woofer, comfortable seating (with arm rests for both seats), great visibility, and space tio haul your stuff make this unbeatable. Driving responsibly I have gotten 10L/1-00km on the highway - about 25 mpg!

Best truck I've ever had. Ride is smooth and very stable. Lots of power available and 4X4 is great in the winter.
Maintenance costs are very low due to Toyota's unparalleled reliability.
The internal finish follows the rugged looks of the truck, easy to clean and maintain. Great internal space, always managed to transport whatever I needed on trips or when moving large items.

The 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser SUV is reminiscent of the original FJ40 Land Cruisers that help build the company's reputation for rugged durability roughly a half-century ago. The FJ Cruiser has the capability to go nearly anywhere.

Simply put, I have another one on order, that is how much I like my FJ. t is without a doubt the best SUV ever built, it takes the place of a Pick-up but has the flexibility of a family sedan as you can access most anything except underground parking.

I had this FJ cruiser for a year. The fuel economy is terrible. If you need to have a child seat, this is definitely not a vehicle that I would recommend for families. Its a real pain to get your child in and out of the back seat, plus, if you have to, you'll bonk your head getting in to put your kid in the back and probably bonk your head again getting your kid out. This SUV is build for 4x4 ing, or for a single or couple. Its got almost no room in the back for shopping which is why you see FJ's on the highway with the bags on the roof. There just isn't any room inside. Your buddies will hate you if you put them in the back seat too. Otherwise, its a Toyota and will last forever.

Wish I could get one of these over in the U.K. Best 4x4 I've ever owned..! Ticks every box one can think of for a high performance SUV. Drives circles around the VAST majority of off road wanna be's. ;)

The FJ Cruiser in my opinion is great for anyone. It is functional in the city (can fit in parking garages), and very function in rural areas and even off road. I found the FJ to be very comfortable and very easy to drive, in that everything was easily accessible from the drivers seat - didn't have to reach over far to grab something. Fuel econ was great, I used to drive from Waterloo to Parry Sound in my FJ almost every weekend for 2 years.
I loved the exterior, there was so much aftermarket stuff you could add on to personalize your FJ.
One thing i didn't like was the fact that the FJ seemed very crammed inside - I had a sunroof cut in to solve that issue.
If you're planning on getting one, I suggest do it. I'm selling my silverado next year to get another FJ.

This is the most mechanically sound 4x4 I have ever owned. I have not had to repair a single thing or do anything other than regular maintenance. It has a bad blind spot so drivers need to be able to drive with their mirrors; however, it is a very comfortable ride.

Can't fault it...!

Love the look, love the drive, love the performance. Makes icy slippery roads a joy to drive. While everyone else has had to stop and put chains on because of bad weather it is soooo nice to just drop it into 4x4 mode and cruise on by without a second thought.

I've had zero troubles with my vehicle. It has been 100% reliable. I haven't really used it much for 4X4'ing but when I did it did not dissapoint. You can't go wrong with this SUV.

Super driving with this truck whether on the highway, bush or the city. Great for active people who need to haul gear and get to places. Very reliable, absolutely no issues, only needs its regular maintenance. Safe vehicle and has lots of room too. The rear pocket doors are deceiving, the rear has as much or more space than any SUV. The seats are quick and convenient to pull down and this truck has power to tow! It's V6 so it's not the most fuel-efficient but performs well in its category for sure. Super performer when in the backcountry.

We have had zero problems with this vehicle. It has regular services at Toyota dealer - who service all 3 of our Toyota vehicles. This vehicle is excellent in the winter and fun to drive year round. Its solid, sturdy, roomy, and has lots of power.

Great car can get you from a to b no problem.. Great in the snow anti skid and all that . can get you where you need to be.. Very good car for bad weather
