2006 Chrysler 300

Great car for the price
I've had 3 of these cars so far.
Lost one due to theft, one was sold, and wife has one now.
The car is great, it has an amazing amount of space, and when compared to space/fuel economy and price to other sedans and small XUV's this was a clear winner to me.
We have 2 kids, and enough room in the back to fit a tall person, and 2 baby seats comfortably.
Trunk space fits 2 strollers, and still has room around for groceries.
The 5.7 HEMI gives it very nice acceleration and it is incredibly comfortable.
If you want power the SRT8 model can't be beat for style, luxury, price and most of all, power.

The downside to these cars is the front suspension. My understanding is that these LX platforms got their suspension and chasis from the E-Class mercedes. The front suspenion will squeak and clunk within a year or 2 after service. Do no go to the dealer for this because you will spend over $2k on control arms alone. I had a whole front end rebuilt on my 300C (155k km) for about $850 with labour.
Great car and maintenance is priced more than fair.
Would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious family car.

2004 Audi A4

Trim: AVANT

Audi doesn't age well
I've purchased this car used with just over 120km on it. At that point every single button in the car was worn out. The design of interior is nice, the quality of material is not.Not because of overuse, but because of the soft plastic used in production. The buttons simply peeled off due to atmospheric heat. That was almost $800 to replace everything.
In one year the engine needed coil packs, turbo service, and every single vacuum hose replaced. In the one year that i owned it i spent almost $3k in service (not dealer price either)
In the end, i got rid of it because i grew tired of the check engine light tuning on. Wouldn't last a month after repair before it needed something else. Ok under warranty, but if Audi is out of warranty, stay away. Had similar issues with an A6.
