I purchased this car after trading in my other Impala. My previous car was a 2002 Impala. The newer version has had many upgrades. One highlight is the temperature gage now added. Living in winter conditions this is helpful for figuring out road conditions.
The interior of the car has also been upgraded with more comfortable seats and the ability to move the seat electronically instead the old way.
Fuel milage has remained about the same.
Repairs: Since owning this vehicle I have had 2 major issues and both were with the electronics. Both were expensive to repair, however I have heard from friends with other cars that this is regular with all cars.

I had a few Fords before my escort and the cars just never lasted. Then came along the Escort. For the 7 years I owned this car I was only at the dealer for repairs maybe 2 times.
Fuel Milage: If only cars of today had fuel milage like the Ford Escort. Very good milage
Interior: The interior was the average car. Bucket seats in the front were very comfortable and the back seat area was very rooomy.
Exterior: Next the end of my 7 years the car was showing some signs of rust.
Final Comments: After my 7 years with this car I sold it to a young teenager who got another 3 years out of the car
