Solid body-on-frame SUV
- powerful V6 engine
- very comfortable front and rear seats
- excellent cargo capacity
- flat-load cargo floor
- can tow up to approx. 6000lbs.
- SLT model offers a lot of features and luxury for your money
- has been very reliable over-all (270,000kms currently), except for a couple known issues with the fan clutch and front wheel bearings
- very tough body-on-frame structure; this specific truck has been in 3 accidents and still runs and feels as solid as it did prior to the accidents with no issues/problems afterwards
Highly recommended.

basic A to B transportation
For many, the ever so popular J-body cars back in the 90's will never be forgotten. However, I've already forgotten about this one..
Was not super comfortable as the seats were poorly designed. The only pluses really that I can remember was the good fuel economy and that it was fairly reliable. Other than that -- an easily forgettable automobile..

Big car luxury and performance
The SSEi may have been a 'boat', but it was a boat with a powerful engine, aggressive/sporty styling, living room comfort and space, and enough features to make the most tech-savvy people from IT happy (based on standards in the mid-90's).
This car was comfortable, reliable, and fun to drive with the 3.8L supercharged V-6. The styling was not for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
And for a big car, it actually handled with some authority -- it didn't pitch and roll like a Buick or Oldsmobile did. Through curves and turns you could feel the weight of the vehicle, but the body roll was well controlled.
Very solid car - highly recommended.

front-wheel drive muscle car
A huge hit among consumers when this generation Grand Prix came to market. Aggressive/sporty styling, powerful and torquey engines, attractively priced, and a roomy interior to boot.
The GTP was my instant favourite and knew I had to have one. For the time, it was a big and heavy car - but handled decently considering. The 3.8L supercharged engine was simply awesome.
Powerful, torquey, reliable -- bulletproof. And the amount of aftermarket performance modifications you could do was endless.
Solid solid car that I still miss to this day..

pocket rocket in the early 90's
The infamous High Output Quad 4 was lauded as being unreliable, known for its head gasket problems and in some cases the actual head cracking.
Despite the low reliability of this engine, it was ahead of its time when most other vehicles in its class had no where near the same amount of horsepower.
Aside from the unreliable but fun/powerful engine, the styling of the 2-door Grand AM GT's was one of my favourite features..
The car was comfortable, handled nicely for its weight/size, fuel economy was respectable, esp. for a high revving 175HP engine back in those days. Although I had to have the engine rebuilt/replaced 2 times - I have no regrets with this car..
