1994 Nissan Sentra

by HomeSweetHome on 10-22-2012
Nissan - my very first brand new car!
My very first brand new car was a Nissan Sentra - green and brand spanking new! It was just out in the market too so the model was pretty new. It was in great competition with the new Honda but I drove my Nissan with such ease even in the sharpest of corners -- not that I drove like a maniac . I still followed speed limits, but I felt sooo cool!

My daughter - I had only one back then - loved the ride. We had to sell it because our family was growing so I had to get a van but I happily gave it to my sister.

1987 Mercedes-Benz 240 Series

I miss my Mercedes
In 1997, I drove my Mercedes with pride and security. I carried my youngest in it when she was just under 1 year old and felt how safe we were in such a reliable car.

My Mercedes is among the first cars I owned and though I bought it second hand, it never gave me issues. I loved the ride and my leather interiors! I loved its gold color but most of all, I loved how it carried my family safely to and from our destinations.

I had to sell it prior to moving to Canada.

1997 Chrysler Concorde

by HomeSweetHome on 10-22-2012
My Chrysler Concorde rode like a plane!
Our family used to have a Chrysler Concorde and it gave us a ride that was as comfortable as a plane ride -- very cushy comfortable seats, huge leg room, huuuuge trunk space, and it was king of the road when we were driving!

My girls would sleep so soundly in the car as my hubby and I took turns driving long distances within Canada or to and from the US. It was so huge inside we could all sleep in there without needing to rent a hotel, but of course we did not want to do that to our lovely car.

Our Concorde -- it gave us the luxurious feel it is well known for!

2004 Mazda MPV

Trim: GT
by HomeSweetHome on 10-22-2012
Will not settle for anything less than a Mazda MPV GT
It is our current van and I love it! I love the leather interior, love that it is a very reliable Japanese car. I love my automatic side doors and the convenience of being able to move the passenger seats sideways. We have traveled far and wide with our Mazda... travelling thousands of miles to and from the US. If I can bring this to Asia, I would!

My girls love it and we can stuff it with loads of things without having to worry about storage capacity. It is also sort of tinted so it does prevents a lot of glare. Performance of the engine is topnotch!

It has never failed us despite it being 8 years old by now. My husband has always wanted to have an MPV and I now know why. I would not settle for anything less and I drive and ride it with pride!
