We downscaled to a Mazda 2 on moving into the suburbs from the country. It has proved a smashing car for use around town. With the rear seats down we are still able to take the dog (in his crate) in the back (previously we had a Volvo estate!) We hardly worry about fuel prices and maintenance costs have been negligible. It is nice looking car with all the bells and whistles.
