Honda Prices 2017 Civic Hatch

Back in August, we let you know that the first Civic Hatchback to go on sale in Canada in three generations would be arriving this fall, but now we have some more details and some pricing to go along with it.

For starters, all models will come with the turbocharged 1.5L four from the sedan and coupe, but the LX will see 174 hp and the Sport and Sport Touring models get 180. Lower trims get 162 lb-ft with the CVT, while the LX gets 167 lb-ft and the Sport trims get 177. They'll all come with the six-speed manual, with an optional CVT.

The LX comes with 7.0-inch colour info display, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, air conditioning, heated front seats, rear-view camera and 16-inch alloys. The six-speed is $21,390, with the CVT at $22,690. Add Honda Sensing (CVT only) with automatic braking, collision warning, lane-keeping and radar cruise and you're looking at $23,690.

Sport trim is $25,190 (6MT) or $27,490 (CVT), and adds a moonroof, the extra power, 18-inch alloys, dual centre-exit exhaust and a body kit. Sport Touring bumps that to $29,390 (6MT) and $30,690 (CVT) and adds leather interior, power driver seat, heated rear seats and a 540-watt premium audio system.

The 2017 Civic Hatchback should be available at dealers soon, with Honda Sensing becoming available on CVT-equipped Sport and Sport Touring models in early 2017.
