Volvo Prices S and V60, Announces Subscription Service

Volvo has just priced the new S60 sedan and V60 wagon, plus the automaker is also announcing that the pair will be available through the new Care by Volvo car subscription service.

Care by Volvo gives customers a new vehicle on a 24-month term. But unlike a lease, this is a largely all-inclusive service. On top of the vehicle, Care comes with maintenance, wear and tear, and even winter tires and wheels for one set monthly payment. It also lets buyers switch vehicles as early as 12 months into the subscription.

The new S60 and V60 will offer collision mitigation with steering and autobrake, run-off road mitigation, lane keep assist, and oncoming lane mitigation. They will also offer a panoramic roof, LED headlights, and in-car 4G LTE Wi-Fi.

Two powertrain options are available at launch. The first is a T5 front-drive with a 2.0L turbo four that makes 250 hp and 258 lb-ft, driven through an eight-speed automatic. The T6 all-wheel drive adds a supercharger to that engine to make 316 hp and 295 lb-ft.

The vehicles, and Care by Volvo, will arrive in Canada late this year. Care by Volvo pricing will follow.
