2020 Toyota Sequoia Adds New TRD Pro Trim

Toyota today announced a $63,290 starting price for the 2020 Sequoia SR5 full-size SUV, whose lineup includes a new TRD Pro trim.

The latest Sequoia's price is a $1,925 increase from 2019 to cover additional standard features, including passive keyless entry, a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen (replacing a 6.1-inch screen), Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and the Connected Services by Toyota package.

Sequoia's new TRD Pro trim is the off-road specialist of the lineup, with internal bypass shock absorbers, Toyota heritage grille, tubular roof rack, underbody skid plate, power tailgate, navigation, and TRD shift lever and floor mats. TRD Pro pricing starts at $78,950.

Toyota also offers the Sequoia in TRD Sport ($68,600), Limited ($69,790), and Platinum ($78,790) trims. All versions share a 5.7L V8 making 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque, a six-speed transmission and standard 4WD. A tow package is also standard, including four- and seven-pin connectors, transmission cooler, and transmission fluid temperature gauge.

The 2020 Toyota Sequoia goes on sale today at Toyota dealers across Canada.
