autoTRADER.ca is Canada's Most Trusted Automotive Classifieds Site for 2019

AutoTRADER.ca is most trusted automotive classifieds site in Canada, according to a recent survey conducted by market research firm BrandSpark.

BrandSpark surveyed 6,900 Canadians for its 2019 Most Trusted Awards, quizzing them on the e-commerce websites and services they have the most faith in. Researchers then analyzed responses and ranked the brands and services based on volume of mentions, with autoTRADER.ca coming out on top in the online automotive classifieds space.

autoTRADER.ca is owned and operated by the Trader Corporation – the leading digital player in the Canadian automotive space. Between its autoTRADER.ca and autoHEBDO.net domains, Trader Corporation generates 17.7 million visits each month, helping Canadian car shoppers make better vehicle-buying decisions through reviews, buyers guides, pricing tools, and more. Trader Corporation also boasts the largest online database of used and new cars in the country, giving Canadians the tools they need to find the exact car they want.

In addition, autoTRADER.ca gives Canadian car owners the ability to read and publish unfiltered owner reviews of newer model year vehicles. BrandSpark found that 71 percent of Canadian shoppers feel trust is established through unfiltered customer reviews on websites, with a majority of shoppers now relying on such product and service reviews to support their purchase decisions.

autoTRADER.ca's expert and owner reviews are beneficial for automakers and dealerships as well, with BrandSpark finding that 75 percent of Canadian shoppers say companies that listen to online reviews and feedback for their products show more accountability and care for their customers.

"In an increasingly online world, trust has never been more important," Robert Levy, President of BrandSpark International, said in a statement. "Shoppers are seeking new and different signifiers of trust, such as online reviews and consumer-based awards on brand websites."
