As a result, the pop-up engine hood safety feature may not work correctly in a frontal crash involving a pedestrian. Safety Risk: A pop-up engine hood that doesn't work correctly in a frontal crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Action: Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to tighten the fasteners on the left-hand front bumper.
