The Taycan was the first full-EV from Porsche, arriving as a rocket ship of near silence. The 2020 Taycan was one of the first cars to combine the acceleration potential of an EV with track-ready handling.

For 2021, the Taycan received some small software changes designed to optimize the car.
Available Trims
Porsche offers Taycan exclusively with dual-motor AWD. It has the Cross Turismo wagon, 4S Cross Turismo, as well as GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S models in both sedan and Cross Turismo styles.
PHEV E-Hybrid is offered as Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, 4 E-Hybrid Platinum, 4 E-Hybrid Executive, 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, 4S E-Hybrid Executive, and 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo.
Standard Features
Taycan includes adaptive air suspension with active suspension management. LED lights are standard as are lane keep assist, cruise control, parking sensors, and keyless drive. Two-zone climate control with pre-climate and pre-conditioning are standard with heated eight-way power adjust front seats and a heated leather wheel. A 16.8-inch digital dash and 10.9-inch infotainment display are included.
Higher-spec models come with performance, cosmetic, and suspension enhancements to match their higher-rated engines.
Key Options
Porsche offers an extensive array of interior material as well as colour and wheel choices. It also offers multiple sports seats options including adaptive 18-way seats.
Performance Package adds rear axle steering, dynamic chassis control, torque vectoring, and sport chrono package. Premium package includes a fixed pano roof, ventilated front seats, Bose audio, lane change assist, and an ionizer, as well as 360-degree cameras.
High-capacity 93.4 kWh Performance Battery Plus is optional on base trims, ceramic brakes are also optional.
Fuel economy
Range estimates for the Taycan go from 320 km for a 4S with Performance Battery to 365 km for a 4S with Performance Battery Plus.
Competition
Competition for the Panamera includes the Mercedes-Benz EQS, Tesla Model S, and Lucid Air.
