2008 Buick Enclave

Trim: CXL All wheel Drive.
by carbuff3631 on 12-13-2014
Still a head turner after 6 yrs.
6 yrs and close to 190k mark, the car still gets noticed. The fact that they have not changed the redesigned version that much a part from the Front Grill also helps.
It is not a perfect SUV but still makes a lot of sense for our family which will now be requiring the 7th seat on daily basis.

Pros: Style, Comfort, Size, Features, Sound & Entertainment System, Big Dual Panel Sunroof. Great Buick Warranty of 7yrs & 160k. We are at 190k mark now.

Cons: Gas (It is a Big & Heavy Vehicle but the real mileage is nowhere near the posted Stuff). Not as tough as some of the other Japanese cars I have used & Abused before.. Traction & All Wheels could have been better.

Would I buy it again ? Well we are going to keep for a few more yrs it as we see it as still the best Option in this class by miles. If we change then it will be because of the sizeof the trunk with full utilization of all 7 seats but the Bigger SUVs out there are way bad with Gas and are Boxy & I don't like Mini-Vans.

2008 Buick Enclave

Stylish but a Lemon
Love the look and comfort of my Buick Enclave. It is comfortable and very stylish but my experience is that it is a lemon. First year of production I guess bugs need to be worked out but these are some of the problems we have had. Front end, transmission, glitchy computer and drainage in the sunroof keeps clogging. The clogging sometimes provides indoor showers and always a sloshing sound when turning corners. Most of the engine problems have been covered by GM, with some gentle persuasion but for a luxury car, there should not have been any issues like I have had. Not to say I wouldn't buy another one, but would want to read some reviews first.

Buick comfort
Buick comfort at its best. Lots of passenger leg room. Rear seats fold down flat and provide more than enough cargo room.
Whether driving around town or distance driving, this car is comfortable and quiet.

I love my Enclave!
I know some people have many complaints about GM and I understand. But my Buick Enclave is a gorgeous vehicle, comfortable, stylish and smooth ride. Plenty of cargo space and can fit anything a truck would fit not compromising the looks. It's a great family car with a fuel consumption of a regular size SUV. I have not had any bad experience yet. (Driving this vehicle for 1 year)

Very Comfortable
The Buick Enclave is a comfortable ride, the interior is very luxurious. The computer is a bit of a pain, incorrect lights and signals come on in the cold weather.

2008 Buick Enclave

Love My Enclave!
The Buick Enclave is a well built, dependable car with more than its share of luxury options. The Enclave is a large vehicle that drives like a car. It has seating for 7 and lots of storage. It's great for long highway trips because it's super quiet and very comfortable. My favourite option is the heated washer fluid. Very nice to clean a frosty windshield. My wife likes the separate heat/cool controls for the driver and passenger seats. I'm also a big fan of the automatic lift gate. Its amazing how you quickly get used to having a convenience like that. I would recommend the Enclave to anyone considering one.

2008 Buick Enclave

One of the best vehicles I have ever owned.
I have never been a big fan of GM vehicles but this one completely changed my mind. It has van-like room but drives like a car. It is comfortable to drive and the suspension smooths out any but the harshest of bumps in the road. We have the AWD version and I cannot stress how wonderful this option is in the winter or slippery conditions. The traction control is fantastic as long as you drive to the conditions and remember you are driving a very large vehicle. I first rented an Enclave in the US on vacation and loved it so much that I looked for one when I got home. The Enclave is worth every penny of its asking price and has given me no troubles at all. The only downside is the extremely limited cargo space if you are carrying 7 people. The seats fold down so you have a ton of room but vacations it is best to get the roof rack that is available separately.
