Great Experience-
Very Reliable vehicle which got me through snow, ice, Canadian winters, the 4 wheel drive was very handy, muti-purpose vehicle,
Quite good as far as fuel economy, roomy interior which could comfortably seat 5 people and the truck space was very large and could be used for any item from furniture to groceries. I drove the vehicle for 10 years and sold it, in very good working order.

Got this jeep as my first car and absolutely love driving it. Haven't had any problems and so much fun to drive. Lots of power and lots of space in the interior.

Inline 4L V6 is probably the most dependable engine Chrysler

I find that it is a nice ride. Its comfortable, reliable, and its easy to put into four wheel drive. It can hold quite a bit of cargo too.

These Cars from the 1999 models to 2005 were innovative, sleak and awesome. Their capability to dominate the wilderness goes unmatched and never will. I have made love endless times in the back due to the fact there was so much room. You do me proud Cherokee.

decent vehicle but bad on gas, pay 90 ish a week in gas. Overall happy with vehicle and its reliability

Jeep Cherokee's are functional vehicles that will last forever. This truck has great power, will drive through anything and looks great doing it. Roof racks allow you to load bikes or a canoe and the tow package adds versatility.
If you are looking for a great truck that can do most anything the Cherokee is for you. It's too bad they stopped making them.

This vehicle goes anywhere in any weather, only issue was premature rusting of the roof and other body hardware. Jeep also needs to install a stronger driver seat on a vehicle that's made to go anywhere.

This car has terrific four wheel drive. Its a very rugged vehicle. It seats five comfortably and has space for everything you may need in the back.

Has never let us down. Purchased at 7 years young used and this truck has started every time I turned the key with no hesitation, whether - 30 or + 30. It has taken us daily driving as well as camping in the north with our dogs regularly and most conveniently. I could never get it stuck in snow and swear it ran better when the weather was inclement as if it knew that it was made for that ! I have replaced a battery, brakes, a brake line and an alternator and thats it ! Sadly the price of fuel has set the tone for something newer and less thirsty and when I sell this Jeep at 191000 kms. it will honestly be a tough moment for me. Somebody knew what they were doing when they designed this vehicle and I hope that the Cherokee is resurrected at some future time as it well deserves it!

Have had a 1992 Cherokee Country and a 1999 Cherokee Classic. Both were excellent for ride, cargo and reliability. Cheap to fix with an honest mechanic and fun to drive. The mpg is the only reason I sold the second one, but if in a rural area with bush and gravel, I'd get another in a second! Good used buy and fun to modify !!!
Total owner ship was about 9 years, I put about 110000k on each.

I bought this Jeep new after university and enjoyed years of camping, skiing & road-tripping. After some initial failures (both automatic windows stopped functioning in the first 2 years), the Jeep held us extremely well. The fun of driving outweighed the cost of the gas. I kept waiting for it to fail to have an excuse to buy a new car. . . .and it just kept going. After 11 years, I finally had to part ways but I still miss it.

Jeep Cherokee is a classic 4x4 off road vehicle and just what I wanted when starting to explore British Columbia's back roads. I purchased this 1999 Cherokee when it was 3yrs old - just back off a lease, and it was 12yrs old when I disposed of it. I really loved the trunk space, it was great for my black Labrador dog. The exterior design was a classic for me but performance was a bit sluggish then again it was 4x4 so I can't complain too much. I loved and cared for this vehicle for 9 years but in the end was glad to trade it in for a new car. I miss those off road adventures but not so much the poor fuel economy and repair bills. Every time I see a black Cherokee on the road I have to stare to see if its my old Jeep, that's how fondly I think of it even a few years later. I think this SUV would be a great addition if you are looking for something cheap that's also 4x4
