2001 Mazda MPV

Trim: ES LEATHER SUNROOF

BEST MINIVAN EVER DRIVES LIKE A SPORTS CAR
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MINIVANS IN THE MARKET LOOKS LIKE A LUXURY SPORTS SUV AND EASY TO MODIFY THE MINIVAN TO LOOK SPORTY WITH SIDE SKIRTS FRONT AND REAR SKIRTS AND SPOILERS MAKES IT LOOK MORE LIKE A MODERN 2015 SUV WITH BETTER FUEL ECONOMY AND DRIVES LIKE A SPORTS CAR -MAZDASPEED , ALSO EASY TO MAINTAIN EASY ON THE WALLET AND PARTS ARE CHEAP AND LESS MONEY SPENT ON INSURANCE TOO This is a great minivan. Very comfortable, and nice to drive. It's smaller than most minivans, and drives a bit like a car. It's amazing in the snow! Like it's glued to the road. Fuel mileage is decent for a van. Parts are pretty easy to find when needed, and many usual repairs can be done by the dealer

2001 Mazda MPV

Good family van.
The things I love about this van is the sliding door windows come down. I love the stow and go seating and there is tons of room in the back for camping gear, baseball, golf clubs etc that active families always need room for. As far as reliability goes, this van has done good. Of course there is routine maintenance which costs an average of $500 per year for a household with no mechanic. Not a lot of guts for hills but slow and steady wins the race.....

very reliable
I've had my MPV for over 10 years and aside from some minor maintenance have never had anything major go wrong. Van is extremely roomy with rear air control. Fuel economy is very good compared to some of the other minivan's I've driven. Replacement parts are fairly inexpensive and easy to obtain. They don't make the MPV anymore but if you're looking for a reliable used van go for it.

2001 Mazda MPV

If not for the rust...
This is my first Mazda. I bought the MPV about 2.5 years and 30 kkm ago. The van has probably received an average maintenance, and I had to fix numerous issues: alternator, starter, and auto transmission. These were bought from a company delivering used parts from Japan, highly recommend, never use rebuilt ones (old alternator and started were already "rebuilt"). I also changed front exhaust pipe (made in Canada, very nice) and other less bulky things. I did it myself - mechanic's my hobby. Now the van is almost perfect but the rust. I think Mazda makes the most rust-prone cars, at least those sold in North America, and especially recently made. I know I can fix anything but the body. So, I'll never buy a Mazda anymore.
