Mazda Miata MX-5 2009Change

In the last 4 years my experience with this sports car has been fantastic.It is a true sports car that will handle very well when pushed to the limit.It is very fuel efficient and has enough power to handle both city and highway driving at any legal speed limit.
The 6 speed automatic transmission with sport mode and paddle shifters on the steering wheel does not detract from the enjoyment of driving a sports car since the shifts are very quick and acceleration from start is quick.The GT model comes with comfortable leather seats and is fully loaded with most options.
The Power Retractable Hardtop is fantastic , quick and does not take away any room from the trunk.Reliability of this car has been well above average and I have had no warranty work done in the last 4 years.
If you are looking for a fun and reliable convertible sports car, you can't go wrong with the MX-5.
My only negative comment is that the cost of this car in Canada is a lot greater( + $ 10,000) than in the USA with no logical reason to back this up.Still this car is thousands of dollars cheaper than high end sports cars which may not give you any more driving pleasure, may not be as reliable and gives you almost no trunk space because of their retractable tops design.

As a sports car mx5 is very practical, it has a very good seat that can accomodates long range trip with out making the passenger had any problem. It has a very nice handling too! And its pretty fuel-economic.

I have been the first owner of this convertible and quite satisfied with it overall. It is nice and fun to drive with the top down and with the easy to put up power retractable hardtop up it is just like a hardtop, very quiet and comfortable, even at highway speeds. The exhaust system is quiet and has a pleasant tone or sound. The only improvement is that I would like to get better mileage, especially at highway speeds, however that must be due to it having a high performance engine. This is a great summer car and also comfortable overall with the PRHT.

This car is fun to drive, especially as a convertible. The standard transmission shifts easy and smoothly. The exhaust noise is quiet but has a nice tone and sound. The power retractable hardtop operates efficiently and when the top is up the interior is as quiet as a hardtop vehicle, even at highway speeds. The only improvement I would like is better gas mileage at highway speeds, I guess that is due to the higher rpm's or it being a high performance engine. The gas mileage may improve with additional miles, it has 18,000KMS. Overall I am very pleased, having had this car for 3 years and being the original owner.

Great car, easy on gas, hugs the curves like you wouldn't believe. The hard top convertible is great. Gives it a nice finish.
