Mercedes-Benz M-Class 1998-2013Change

A comfortable and roomy vehicle excellent for our trips to Florida.Diesel fuel consumption is the biggest and only asset of this vehicle.Unfortunately, at 200K, the engine needed repairs around 12,000 CAD ( DPF replacement,valve stems popped up and oil consumption was ridiculous,etc). did not expect anything like that from a Mercedes vehicle.Sold it before even 5 years of ownership.

I bought my ML 320 in 2004, and I have loved it ever since. It is a very smooth ride and a pleasure to drive. I used to have a car but once I started driving this SUV I vowed never to go back to a regular-sized car. You get to see so much more when you are behind the wheel of an SUV.

And this SUV is a Hall-of-Famer! I have enjoyed driving it for the last 13 years and hope to continue driving it for at least another 3-5 more!

I don't know what I will buy next, all I know is it will not come close to being as valuable and quality as my Mercedes ML 320, 2001.

Have dumped over 20k since warranty expired. Absolutely worst vehicle I've owned. Great ride. Exceptional performance. However major components break and they accept no liability for it. I see a class action suit is coming in USA.

Replace engine after 95,000km, air suspension, remote door lock, various storage compartment locks broken, poor ride. Not what I would expect., will never buy another one. Diesel engine.

safe and reliable, always starts when i turn the key and never let me down. great price at the pump, lots of power and torque.

Love our ML bluetec - amazing fuel economy, so comfortable, very spacious with lots of get up and go!

Only complaint - issues with shifting at lower gears (2-3).. we've had a hesitation/shuddering problem since the day we bought it (used). Have a family friend who has a 2013 ML bluetec with same issue. MB assures us that it's just a software issue but the software update has been installed and it's still not completely gone. Oh well! Still a great car. Would not own a MB without warranty, though. Too many computer/electronic parts that would cost $$$ to fix! Second MB and would not hesitate (no pun!) to continue to buy them in the future. :)

Phenomenal Vehicle. Mercedes Vehicles never break down or require major repair. This is the third used vehicle I've bought from Mercedes and they have all driven like a dream, been comfortable for passengers, never require major work.

If you've never bought a M.B. buy one!

Be careful with these cars. There are no cheap fixes. Oil change runs on average 150. Batteries and Tires you are looking at the most expensive items on the market as replacements. The electronics are also an issue. I had my stereo go and was told by the Benz dealer and future shop that replacing them was extremely expensive and difficult. The car does ride well but be very careful they are not cheap to keep on the road. If you asked me to go back in time and buy this car used again NO CHANCE. I know being Mercedes you need to expect some things are more expensive but not worth the headache. I feel other cars/suvs would have provided me a better choice in hindsight.

Airmatic suppose to make it more fuel efficient but a 5 litre engine is thirsty.. on the other hand a very large gas tank does not require frequent filling.
Very comfortable and spacious. With all of the usual high standards finishes and electronics. Enjoy the ride.

i have 4 vehicules that are 4 wheel drive the ml surpasses all and with more comfort and style , great in snow . heated steering is very nice

Very Reliable Car, Serviced Regularly, Clean, Excellent Condition, Handles very well on the road. Excellent Sound System. Zenon Headlights make night driving easy.

I have owned my ML320 for Over 10 years and all I can say is That it is Time Tested and Solid. Great in all weather conditions and feel very safe driving it.

It is a great family car, Joy to ride, good on gas. Always in heated garage, low km. Hard to find car like that.

This has been minimally used and have always been used with care. It is great on fuel economy and is super comfortable! Love everything about it.

Terrific luxury car, very smooth ride especially on the highway. Very reliable in snow or slippery conditons.

It has been a joy to drive. It is solid and handles Canadian winters very well - hugs the road and ride is very nice - especially for a truck frame.

Though it is an SUV and looks big and heavy, make no mistake, the ML500 is a super hero that even intimidates nitros boosted turbo modified foreign and local vehicles. It is simply a commander of the road with exceptional control and power. The ML500 can accelerate faster than most if not all vehilces on the road and can keep accelerating past speeds of 140km/h. But with speed must come braking to a stop and again the ML with brake assist and large disc brakes does this elegantly. This one has bluetooth voice command sound system pumping through a Bose 7 speaker system. Enjoy!

keep driving the car for for more than 3 years and it always provide the comfort and luxury to me. The noise level is nearly perfect even when it is 5 years old and the oil consumption is better than x5 or audi q7 comparing to my friends'.

Smooth ride with no noise and good climate control. Very easy to drive in winter with comfy heated seats which is a good feature for the kids too.

I have truly loved this vehicle the blue tec diesel is great engine. The fold down seats came in handy. I will miss it.

This is a comfortable, practical, luxurious, sporty medium sized SUV with get up and go that makes life on the road exciting!

The ML 350 is an absolute treat to own and drive. I am a taller person so headroom and ease of entry is key. MLs are 5/5 on both. The Blue Tec diesel is economical but has the acceleration and cruising power when needed. The power tailgate is great when loading the rear storage area which is huge. The design makes maneuverability in a tight parking lot a dream, but does not sacrifice ride for highway driving.

I know reading this you will think I own Mercedes stock but I do not. The ML350 is simply a "Sweet Ride"

that's been in it loves it. The ride is smooth and powerful. The exterior turns heads and the interior is stylish and comfortable.
