Nissan Sentra 2010Change

love this car. downgraded from a chevy trailblazer, and couldnt be happier. gas is great, comfortable, lots of trunk space and roomy backseat

Owned this car for 5-6 years, haven't had a SINGLE problem with it. Great build quality, great on gas, overall an amazing car to run around in. There is a few things Nissan could have done better (i.e. looks of the car, slightly more appealing interior for younger generations), but over all a very practical and sturdy built car. Can't go wrong with Japanese!

I have been driving a nissan sentra for about a year now and have no real complaints about this car. It is exactly what you would expect it to be. You get in the car every morning, it starts and you drive to work. I wont get you there faster or slower than any other car, but you definitely feel connected to the car as you can feel everything that happens with it. This is in no way a bad thing as the car is extremely comfortable and quiet. Basically as long as you pay attention to the car and the feedback it gives you, you will never have any surprises. It is a surprisingly roomy car. I am 6'5" tall and I fit comfortably with someone sitting in the seat behind me. The stock sound system is again exactly what you would expect from your average daily driver and I have no complaints.

In summary:

-Great on gas
- Very confortable
- Perfect daily driver
- Roomy interior and trunk
- Dual folding down rear seats
- An average car that you can rely on

Don't listen to the "professional" auto journalists. They drive cars on test tracks and around pylons. They like the jerky feel of a transmission going from 4th to 3rd and back to 4th. All the things 9 out of 10 people will never do. The CVT tranny is the best and now I see all the Japanese manufacturers are starting to put it in their cars. Toyota, Honda, Subaru.
After 95,000 km's this car shifts so smooth, is much quieter than the competition and a joy to drive. The CVT is amazing! No more jerking between gears of a "traditional" transmission.
I also chose the Sentra because of the much better headroom and shoulder room and a superior audio experience.
Compared before buying:
Mazda 3 has a massive centre console that your knees knock against. It also had a lot of road noise.
Honda Civic felt like you're in a cocoon and it got claustrophobic with its low ceiling. It also sits too low; a bit like a go kart.
Hyundai Elantra and Accent both had virtually no view through the rear window (small and too swoopy), massive road noise and under powered. Lots of bells and whistles, but sub par engines in comparison.

The Sentra, for me, is the ultimate commuter and sits really solid on the hwy. with its 16in wheels. It's no V6, but tramp on it and it does get up and go!
Love the split trunk. Makes it seem like you have two!
I'd recommend the darker tint windows just to give it a bit of privacy, but that's just my taste.

Might trade in the 2010 for the 2015 or might wait another year.

My Nissan Sentra is a beautiful and elegant vehicle that exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and reliability.

i have drove Dodge Calibur 2010, Ford Focus 2010, Kia Forte 2010, but based on comfortable, fuel economy, and reliability, this Sentra doesn't need a lot of maintainess and packed with loads of fun and excitement

I have had this car for about a year and a half now. I have had zero problems with it and I bought it used. It is such a comfortable ride, great on gas, and affordable. It does have pick up if you want it too and handles corners very well. I am in love with my car. Will buy a nissan for the rest of my life. This is one great car. Will recommend it to anyone!

wounder-full experience, i have 3 kids, we went quite a long ways with this car,never had any problem and saved lots of money on gas. perfect for family of 5.

Have owned the car for 3 years.It has never failed to perform well even in extreme weather.It is a great car for long distances as well as local journeys.

This is a great car. It has good fuel economy, I rarely need to fill up! It is reliable and I haven't had a problem yet. It is also comfortable too! If given the choice I would definitely buy this car again. I got it for a good price and it met all of my needs. I like the way it looks, especially for a cheaper car, it looks really nice. The interior design of the car is good too. Though it doesn't really matter to me that much it sure is a plus. If I were to buy another car I would definitely consider another nissan.

it drives well, it is very comfortable, and very good on gas. It is obviously not meant to go fast or have very much power, so those things don't need to be taken into acount

I have a silver one, but only because the Blueberry and Raspberry ones were gone!

I bought my car used, and have never had a problem with it. I use it to commute over an hour away, and get excellent fuel economy. However, I've read that it does not have the best fuel economy in it's class--so there are other options out there.

Love my 2010 Sentra........have had 2 Sentra cars over the past 5 years. Love the smooth ride, comfortable interior, and fuel economy.

Will probably consider another Sentra, especially because the design has changed.

I have driven this car on a few occasions, I find it very roomy, plenty of head room and leg room. The 4 cylinder engine provides very reasonable fuel economy and it drives fairly well on the highway. this vehicle also has a few bigger blind spots. this vehicle has great trunk space for a mid size car.
