BMW X3 2003-2017Change

The Bmw X3 is a great ride. After driving a Dodge Caravan for a day, my X3 felt like a lil sports car! Problems do happen, and when they do they are pricey! Regardless, I will miss my ride when its gone.

The new X3 with "angle eyes" and of course the "si" series engines made it one of tho most reliable compact AWDs in the market, it's Xdrive and breaking systems were the highlights. Personally experiencing the 170->0km/h breaking on flat thick ice made me a big fan of this CUV. It is a bit stiff in steering but this is due to its high grip with the road, you put it on S mode and you'll fill engine's prompt response to your every touch on the gas paddle.

Amazing car in its class. Love the performance and quality of driving. When it comes to fuel economy, it is bad. Its competitors take the lead on fuel consumption. I would recommend this car seeking for something between a full-size sedan and an SUV

Perfect SUV for the city types. Off Road she stll needs some work but can get through pretty much anything, really enjoy the car. :)

Been driving for 3 weeks. Feels the quality is top-notch and well built. Still under break-in period so cannot comment on performance too much. Switching from a sedan so the fuel economy is not as good as before. Hopefully after the break-in period, the gas consumption will improve gradually. So far no complaint and it's been a great ride.

Waited for 2.5 months for final delivery as I was told there is a backlog on the model and color I want.

Thanks to the Bimmers' designer team, the new X3 finally looks handsome, especially compare to the first generation. I really enjoy the factory equipped feature such as the Eco Pro mode which really is saving you gas for the long run.

Had this car for over 5 years now. Reliable, nice, especially in a winter time - feels like driving a little tank)) Never get stuck, always able to start the car even without a oil heater.
Would recommend it to anyone.

This car has gone beyond my expectations. It was purchased used for approximately $20000 with about 70,000 KM's on the engine. This is the 2006 X3 3.0L. The car runs extremely smoothly and has ample amounts of power and torque. The cabin is quiet and driving is smooth. Features are luxurious including a panoramic roof and also tiptronic. Exterior looks fabulous and is in perfect condition. Only down side is that the fuel economy is average.

Lights and bulbs need attention, door locks always require additional annoying step to open back door trunk or passengers exiting, seats do not breathe well causing sweat.

Great car that is easy to drive and provides a cozy interior in which heated seats as well as a heated steering wheel is nice in the cold. Gas is good, usually fill up every second week and i drive for adleast three hours per day. Put 60000 km's on it and no problem at all yet.

When I drive this car I feel like its not just a car but my car. It makes me feel like I'm a celebrity just going by your typical neighborhood. Therefore this is why it is an amazing ride!

I bought this car new and just love it. Besides a few warranty issues at the beginning, it has been very reliable. Would love to buy the new X3 with the twin turbo engine. Maybe soon !

Great car with little sound and comfortable seats, great air conditioning and it conserves fuel but it relies on high grade gasoline

Really nice when driving around town. The drive quality is really excellent! Fun to drive around as a daily driver! Maintenance cost is above the average. Repairs are costly unless you have warranty on the vehicle. In overall its a great vehicle! I personally think that some X3's are a bit overpriced.

Comfortable, sporty and very solid drive. Stability control is top with Xdrive.
Leg room in back seats is great

The X3 is a good city SUV for hauling around one's paraphernalia. Performance from BMWs inline 6 is good as expected, the host of standard features in the executive edition are worth the extra costs. 18" wheels, running boards make the vehicle look sporty and classy.

Great vehicle to drive, reponsive and handles like a dream, well equipped including a heated steering wheel. BMW's X-drive is awsome for winter conditions. Looks great and makes you feel special

Driven it for 3 years now, great for Canadian weather and is a great solution to many different purposes. Moving from house to house - done. Family vehicle - done. Great ride and comfort.

Drives nice, lots of room for 4. Bought used and have owned for 2 years with 1 minor transmission problem.
Not the greatest mileage but you don't buy an suv for mileage.

For those who want sport and luxury, BMW X3 is definitely the way to go.
It gives you plenty space for vacations and travels, at the same time with the twin turbo charged engine, you would not feel you are missing out on performance.
It is an awesome ride.

Perfect blend of performance, fuel economy, styling and versatility. X-drive is amazing in the snow, able to lock into 4x4 and disable traction control for sideways fun! If you don't mind the larger than average maintenance costs check out this ride.

Have had it for 4 years, have only had a few minor problems with blocked sun roof drains and service engine soon lights going off.

I love this SUV! It is comfortable and beyond reliable. It is safe and also great on Fuel!!! half a tank of gas takes me from Toronto to Windsor! that's 400 KMS. I am not selling my x3 for any specific reason, If I get a good sell then I will sell it and get an X1 as the X1 is my new fav! and if I don't sell my x3 then I would still be as statisfied and more :)

This car is the most reliable, well built, solid, stable car I have ever owned; even more so than my Honda CRV. It handles very well in all weather and road conditions, but is especially impressive on snow and ice. It is an AWD vehicle, but also has an extra system of getting through the really tough stuff.(snow drifts) The heavier weight of this SUV, makes it a smoother ride than some of the lighter similar vehicles and less prone to wind movement on the highway. The safety features are impressive, but that is a common feature of many German built vehicles.
It has a good interior light package and sound system and the heated seats have three levels of heat comfort controls. However, the interior is fairly basic for a luxury, high end car. I think the manufacturer could have made the interior fancier, but I guess I would rather have the safety features, and give up some of the cosmetics. It is not horrible for gas mileage, but it is not the best either. I think the weight may play a role in that equation.
I think this vehicle is built to last a very long time. It is an awesome family car, as it is extremely reliable, comfortable and safe, and has a good sized cargo area for hauling "stuff" around. I have used it mostly for highway driving, but living in the country have had to drive poor and snow covered roads frequently. This car has never let me down!

Great Vehicle with Classic BMW Styling and Quality!! Very Fuel Effecient and powerful with all the power features you need. Great Panoramic Suroof, roomy and comfortable. Great smooth ride on the highway and city both, little to no road noise. All around great vehicle.
