Great Experience-
Very Reliable vehicle which got me through snow, ice, Canadian winters, the 4 wheel drive was very handy, muti-purpose vehicle,
Quite good as far as fuel economy, roomy interior which could comfortably seat 5 people and the truck space was very large and could be used for any item from furniture to groceries. I drove the vehicle for 10 years and sold it, in very good working order.

No issues at all, and very comfortable for a 4x4 suv style vehicle. I can travel long distances with ease. Fuel economy could be slightly better, but lots of pep to get you out and through traffic.

So far it has been 3 years, nearly 50k and still feels like brand new. Even comparing with other brands new models, the interior is way more modern and with more trinkets.
On the Limited version, kudos to the powered lift gate, heated seats and steering wheel, start button, one touch unlock feature and more.
Cons: The non 4x4 version is weak in the snow so go with 4x4 if you have to drive in those conditions.

Dudes this car is amazing, it's SOOOO reliable and it's just what I need omg it's amazing the fuel economy is wonderful and it's so comfortable the seats are just amazing! Guys this car is the best thing I've ever driven it goes 0-60 in like 6 seconds and 0-100 in 10 seconds!!

I owned a 2005 Cherokee and loved it. It handles so well on and off road, seats are comfortable and all control are within easy reach. Mileage was surprising for a 6 cylinder. Great storage and the roof rack made it easy to strap my canoe to the roof. I would highly recommend this vehicle for both city and off road driving.

it for my mom, but it full great (design), you can go for shopping and an another thing t=with this, if you're really like design and performance for your car, you can choose this. And with this, you can go anywhere and every season

Really like it. Fun drive.
The auto climate is great.
Backup camera image not great - a bit grainy and performs poorly in bright or dark light.
Bluetooth assumes phone and music,etc. The latter has auto play and Bluetooth fussiness that I have to disconnect each time - so that needs some work.

The price is right. Great look in red and is overall a smooth ride. Affordable on the gas. Would definitley recommend.

I have this car for over 2 years now, bought it brand-new and never had any problems with it. The fuel economy is not as great but I don't drive much so that helps consuming more gas.

The only thing I regret not buying is the bigger touch screen with GPS functions.

A great and reliable sturdy car but totally lacks in fuel efficiency, be warned if you want to buy! Otherwise, has lasted us for without any problems at all and is good in any environment, although a bit chilly in winter

The ride is nice but I have had a lot of transmission problems. It was under warranty at the time but left me on the side of the highway three times.

Got this jeep as my first car and absolutely love driving it. Haven't had any problems and so much fun to drive. Lots of power and lots of space in the interior.

ive had this car for abt 3 months and the payments are a little rough but its all good i manage the seat are very comftable and the sterring wheel the heating system and everything else is great

My favorite out of the cars I've owned. Great on fuel, quick take off took me a bit to get used to the off and on when you stop. It also handles well.

I have had this car for 2 years now and it is amazing if you are looking to buy i would highly recommend it. The styling could use some work and the fuel economy could also be improved upon.

I have a great experience with this car over the past year. It is reliable,and comfortable with a very cool look to it. It has great power and I love it.

great for families,as well as loads of cargo room. folding seats really come in handy. leather interior easy to clean

I've had my Cherokee since July 2015 and it has been a great ride . So far I've only had to do basic maintenance. My only "issue" is that the interior is a little cramped for my liking, but hey I knew I wasn't buying the Grand Cherokee so I can't really fault it for that.

Its a great family vehicle. The interior is comfortable. Good for off-road driving. Only complaint is that its a little hard on gas.

It is really good ride for me since three years. No doubt fuel consumtion is more as compaired to other suvs but its worthy in bad weathers and on highways

This is a good sized SUV for a 4 cylinder. It drives really smooth and nice the only issue I have is that it’s pretty gutless when it comes to picking up speed quickly. It bogs way down before it realizes you are trying to speed up quickly so if you plan to pass make sure you give yourself ample time! The interior is spacious and comfortable. Gas mileage is good. It handles really well in the snow. I’ve owned the car from brand new and haven’t had any major issues with it and I feel pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Amazing SUV, great on gas with a lot of power. This SUV is loaded with panoramic sunroof, heated seats and steering for those -30 winters.

The Jeep had to be taken to the dealer 3 times to reset the computer as the radio wouldn't turn off twice and trailer lights did not work. Vehicle had a droning noise in which Chrysler replaces the muffler and resonator and as well checked out the transmission. Problem was still not resolved and I contacted Chrysler Canada which was a waste of time as they did absolutely nothing for me. I took my problem to CANVAP and went through the Arbitration process which gave me the results I wanted . Chrysler replaced the transfer case 2 rear half shafts and the rear differential which solved the problem After 34000 kms front and rear brakes need replacing as the rotors deteriorated.Most recently the light switch fell into the interior of the dash. I'm going back to FORD

This is my favourite vehicle! It looks tough, bold, boxy and classic. It has lots of power and the size is perfect. Not too big, not too small and the height gives good sight & overview compared to sedans/coupes. Doesn't feel cramped for both the driver and passengers, but that really depends on your size. You can fit a tonne of stuff especially with the back seats down. They are fairly easy to work on yourself, especially with the help of YouTube and online forums. I haven't used the 4x4 yet, but Cherokees rival the Wranglers when offroading. Now the bad..
It's old. Components are starting to fail and fixing/replacing parts sometimes spawn new problems. Rust is a big problem with this generation of Cherokees, but mine isn't as bad as others (floors and rockers still good). It runs VERY hot. This is apparently normal, but I still believe that all that heat is no good for long term durability/reliability. There are trucks that have a even bigger engine and it still runs cooler than the Cherokees. Fuel mileage is okay, but bad if you're going from a car like a Honda Civic. Right now I'm getting 15.9 MPG or 450-500KM per tank which is average. I can get a little better with proper and regular maintenance.
Cherokees have a Christmas list of common problems, BEWARE. If you love it as much as I do, bite the bullet with the problems and slowly rebuild/restore it as if it were brand new. Just be prepared to dump a lot of money.
