Mini is Invading Montreal

There is an invasion coming to Montreal on October 14th and 15th. But don't be alarmed, it's a Mini Invasion. No, not a small invasion, an invasion of small cars. It's the fourth running for the Canadian version of the Mini owner meetup, car show, and rally.

Mini is celebrating 15 years in Canada, so they're throwing a party. The 2017 Mini Invasion will be the fourth time the tiny car maker has held the event. The first was in 2010. After that, events were held in 2014 and 2015. Last time, there was a day-long rally that saw Minis invade six cities in two provinces.

This year the Invasion is coming to Montreal. The event is for owners of Minis old and new, classic and modern. There will be meetup points on the way to Montreal for cars coming from the east and west, with treats available before convoying into the city.

At the event, Mini will have parade laps of the ICAR circuit in Mirabel, PQ. There will be a show and shine event there, and then an evening event to celebrate 15 years of Mini in Canada.

The event is by registration only, and spots are limited. The last event, in Ottawa, saw 303 cars and 640 people from across Eastern Canada.
