Hyundai Prices 2020 Palisade SUV

Hyundai first showed off its latest three-row crossover at the Los Angeles auto show last fall. Now, as it gets set to arrive at dealers, we have a price to go with it. And the 2020 Hyundai Palisade will start at under $39,000.

All Palisades come with a 3.8L V6 with 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The base Essential trim will be available as a front-driver, but all the rest come with all-wheel drive as standard. All trims get an eight-speed automatic.

It's Hyundai's new flagship model, which means loads of flagship luxury features like quilted Nappa leather on the top trim, along with ventilated middle-row seats and an in-car intercom.

It's a big crossover, to fit those three rows. It's 76 mm longer than the Santa Fe XL at 4,980 mm long, putting it in about mid-class for size inside and out. And with up to 16 cupholders, turn signal cameras that show what's immediately alongside on screens inside, and a 10.25-inch available infotainment screen, it has useful features that crossover buyers want.

The base Essential trim, starting at $38,499, will come with heated front seats and steering wheel as standard. Essential and Preferred are available only with three rows of bench seats to seat eight passengers, Luxury can seat eight or get middle-row captains chairs to seat seven, and Ultimate is seven-seats only.

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade is set to go on sale this month.
