The electric 2024 Lexus RZ gets some small updates including new paint colours, range information tweaks, and some extra equipment. Pricing has also been announced.
A new gauge cluster is the biggest update for the lineup. It now displays power consumption as a percentage instead of just a graphic visual indicator, and will display charging time to reach 80 percent, the number most EV owners use when Level 3 charging. Signature models will also get carpeted floor mats as standard equipment.
On the Luxury grade model, Lexus is adding a digital rearview mirror and a digital key function. Those features were already available on the top-spec Executive grade. Those two top grades will get the new paint colours, which include Copper Crest and a version of Copper Crest with a contrast black roof.
The electric powertrain is unchanged and uses two motors to deliver AWD and 308 hp regardless of trim. The estimated range for the Signature model is 354 km, but 20-inch alloy wheels contribute to cutting the range to just 315 km on Luxury and Executive.
The Lexus RZ450e starts from $64,900 and is now at dealers in Quebec and B.C. Pricing for the 2024 RZ450e Signature has dropped $50 from last year. Luxury and Executive models have slight increases, up $600 and $100 respectively. The full list of MSRPs is below, but nationwide availability timing hasn't yet been confirmed. Lexus said that it will bring the RZ to dealers in the rest of the country once it has enough supply.
