Porsche Announces 2018 Track Experience

Porsche Canada has announced its 2018 Track Experience program, with new levels arriving to challenge new levels of drivers.

The Porsche Track Experience, previously known as the Porsche Sport Driving School, teaches drivers the skills to help them handle high-performance vehicles in a track environment. Participants get to drive the latest Porsches while getting classroom and personalised training. This is the second year for the school in Canada.

Drivers looking for a basic class can try the half day Warm-up training group. That class simulates everyday traffic situations and teaches drivers to brake, change lanes, and control oversteer effectively. But if you're looking for something more, Porsche delivers.

The two-day courses start with the Precision group offered last year. That's aimed at drivers wanting to take to the track for the first time. After that are new courses for drivers who want to take their Precision group skills and knowledge up a level.

The Performance group works on improving vehicle control further, upping your pace and increasing lapping skills. Above that is the Master class, where the focus is on showing you how to drive faster and more independently on track. Master RS and RSR programs are intended to increase your skills even further and make you even faster.

The courses will take place at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, ON, starting this May. Spaces are limited.
