Functional
Has a high fuel consumption in ratio to the number of passengers it can seat because it is a 5 seater minivan. There have been no major performance issues in the year I've owned it. It is somewhat tight on space for use as a family car - when going on trips, the trunk is fairly small and there isn't enough seats to car pool.

The hyundai tuscon is a great vehicle to have when you have children
The Hyundai Tuscon is a great vehicle and I thoroughly enjoy mine. It has great performance and acceralation and is very easy to get the kids in and out of their car seats. The trunk space is fair and would love to see a little more. Once I have the stroller in it that dominates quite a bit of room. But have used it for travelling and it is great for long distances.

Reliable. Fun. Practical. Sporty...
I have a 2005 Tucson manual transmission, and it is the most fun SUV with a manual transmission ever. I have my subs in the trunk, i can fit friends in the back comfortable with the snowboards on the roof on my way up to the ski hill without a problem, the all wheel drive is awesome, the car is peppy, alot more "performance" than you would expect getting out of an sux especially a hyundai. The car being almost 8 years old still looks nice, not faded or out dated looking and the interior is the same, comfortable for a small SUV and not one thing in the car has broken/down.

Great ride just bad fuel consumsion. The paint tends to scractch off for no reason what so ever. I don't think that I would ever get another one just for those two reasons.

Enjoyable crusie
The Hyundai Tucson was a nice SUV, with the pretty smooth handling off-road/back-trails was easy to go down and around on. While on road, was also a smooth cruise. Was quiet for the most time, depending on who's driving, the vehicle was amazing on gas I found, didn't take much to fill it up and whatever gas was put in burned you around for a good bit.

Nice Vehicle
Absolutely no power. Fuel consumption is average for an SUV. I've had this vehicle since January '10 and all I've had to replace on it was brakes once and windshield wipers. We take the Tucson to the US for shopping trips, the built in GPS is really nice for that. Overall I am very satisfied with this vehicle only downside is it has no power, the V6 would be much better.

Love this car
We love this car. The ride was very smooth. It looks sporty but does not ride like a sports car. I went from driving a Dodge Avenger to this SUV and will buy another one in the future. I took a lot of flack from friends and family for buying a foreign make vehicle, but once they rode in the vehicle, they all remarked about the smooth ride.

Good Car
While sales of big SUVs continue to sag, crossovers just keep rolling. The smallest utes are some of the biggest growers, and it's vehicles like the Hyundai Tucson that are the reason why.
The Tucson's been a strong seller since its 2010 model-year redesign, when it lost an underwhelming persona and took on Hyundai's daring new design theme. It gambled on good looks, but it reached for fuel-economy heights, too, betting that gas prices would continue to rise. Both were well-placed and well-timed.
It's four years old now, but the Tucson still looks dramatic and interesting. We're still not sure exactly what's "Tucson" about its urbane new shape, but there's so much surfacing and detailing on its body...wait, what were we saying? It's attractive still, and grabs more attention than a similarly sized Nissan

Great SUV
The Hyundai Tucson is a great cross-over suv. It has amazing fuel economy and the AWD is awesome in the winter. I love the seat heaters, touch screen navigation system that allows me to stream music, hook up my iPod, use the back up camera, the awesome nav system, handsfree calling and double sunroofs! What it lacks in engine power, because it is a 4-cylinder, it makes up in the $$ saved on gas. Very comfortable ride.

Bank for your buck
My first car was a Toyota Corolla. Then I bought a Nissan Altima, traded that for a BMW 323i. After a while, I ditched the BMW for Honda Civic Coupe. 6 years later, I bought this Tucson. It's not just saving gas money, it also saves monthly insurance payment. It's big enough for shopping. At the same time, it's size is not too big to handle.
Smooth ride, good safety ratings, a lot of safety features are included. Nice car for Frugals

Hyundai Tucson Accomplishes it All
Since the day I bought my Tucson I have never been let down. Affordable AWD gets through the snow in rural Ontario, carries a full load of people and pets with ease and even hauls a trailer for camping adventures. The perfect size to meet my daily needs and it still rises to the extremes of cargo and long term reliability. With 260 000 Kilometers it is still going strong and I can say that I would buy this SUV again. I would only improve on two things. The reverse lights should be brighter. In the country at night there is no ambient lighting so the reverse lights have to do all the work and I don't find them bright enough. Also, as a short woman the driver's seat is fairly far forward which makes the centre arm rest too far back for ideal comfort. I have openly recommended this vehicle and will continue to do so.

Great family vehicule
It has performed as we wished with lots of room for 4 family members, and all the stuff that goes with 2 children. It has a smooth ride and great gas milage, similar to smaller family cars. The one problem we experienced was the cylinders to support the trunk not lasting very long and having the lid drop on our heads! It has an easy, smooth shift on the standard transmission. Overall, we are happy with it!

Good SUV
This is a good SUV from Hyundai. i am using this for last 36 months. the area where i am living in in very cold place. temperature will drop to -35c still the car will start with out any trouble its a very releasable SUV to have. very comfort to drive and very good control of the driving on all weather conditions.
i had a major issue one month back about overheating the engine.the dealer do there best to find and fix the problem for me. And some parts a even they dint had in North America and i have to Wiatt for them to bring from Korea. End of the day the dealer did a great job now the car is running like brand new.

Great Value
Love the Tuscon. My only complaint would be that there is some slippage from 1st to 2nd gear - especially noticeable in the cold weather months. Other than that the Tuscon performs very well. For the money, this car is a great value!
