2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV Starts From $63K in Canada

The all-electric 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV will arrive at dealers by the end of next month with a starting price of $63,298.

That entry-level price is for the Blazer EV in 2LT AWD trim, and it includes freight, dealer fees, and A/C tax. That means a sticker price of a little less than $60,000, which means the Blazer EV will qualify for federal and provincial and territorial electric vehicle (EV) incentives. The base 2LT includes AWD, heated front seats and steering wheel, wireless phone charging, a power tailgate, and driver assist systems including adaptive cruise control. It also comes with a 17.7-inch touchscreen and an 11-inch digital instrument display.

But that 2LT AWD isn't the first one that will go on sale. That honour will go to the RS AWD grade, which is $73,298 including those same fees. It has much of the same kit as the 2LT, but adds an RS grille, gloss black trim, and RS badges. It also has ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a head-up display, and 21-inch wheels, and it too should qualify for federal and provincial incentives.

Range for the 2LT and RS models is an officially estimated 449 km on a full charge. The 2LT AWD model will arrive in the fall along with a rear-drive RS. That rear-drive RS is the same price as an AWD model but will have a (GM) estimated range of 515 km and will get an upgraded audio system.

The next trim to arrive is expected to be the SS, which will start production in spring of 2024. If you're wondering about the 471 km 2LT that was already announced, that's for the front-wheel drive version that will launch sometime next year.

Chevrolet dealers will start taking orders for the 2024 Blazer EV in 2LT AWD, RS AWD, and RS RWD in late summer. Orders for the rest will be accepted closer to the launch dates, Chevrolet Canada said.
